The New Zealand stroller brand Mountain Buggy started in 1992 with a father's need to enjoy the New Zealand mountain trails with his baby. He created a sturdy and agile stroller able to handle any terrain, creating a foundation of Mountain Buggy’s all-terrain strollers with clean lines and functional style. Nowadays, Mountain Buggy belongs to Phil&Teds, another well-known New Zealand producer of spacious and versatile strollers.
Mountain Buggy portfolio includes the Terrain, the Duet tandem stroller, the urban Cosmopolitan or the all-rounder Urban Jungle. Since 2018, the ultra-compact Nano is also available in a tandem version. Mountain Buggy also offers a wide range of travel solutions for children. There is the Bagrider - a carry-on suitcase that can take on a toddler for a ride; car seats; the Juno carrier or the Unirider- a single wheel with a seat that you can push or pull along. There is also the Freerider, a sibling board that transforms into a freewheeling kid’s scooter; and finally, the foldable, travel highchair called Pod.
