Parent reviews of the Joie Pact Flex Signature
It’s fantastic if you are usually traveling alone or living in an apartment with stairs etc. As the one handed fold and light weight makes it easy to fold whilst holding your baby!
However my experience with this pram has been mixed feelings. It's extremely convient, however my baby just hates it. It doesn't sit completely upright so that's something to bear in mind!
Your questions about the Joie Pact Flex Signature
Hi,
Can I ask which car seats are compatible with Joie Pact Signature please?
Thank you
Hi, Dafne,
With the adapters, you will be able to attach all Joie 0+ car seats, but also Maxi-Cosi, Cybex, Kiddy, Recaro, Nuna car seats, as they have the same attachment system. I would probably about the reclinable models though as they are quite large and heavy, and it may be it will be a tight fit and a worse center of gravity.
Can it be taken as cabin luggage in aircrafts?
Hi, Ivan,
Yes, the very compact fold of 56.5 cm x 52.5 cm x 26.5 cm makes it an ultracompact stroller that can often be taken on board as a piece of cabin luggage. However, each airline is different and you should definitely check the requirements with the airline you're planning to use.
Hi!
I’ve recently tried the Lascal Maxi Buggy Board on my pact flex signature but for some reason it just does not work correctly. Once my toddler is on the board, the pram feels incapable of moving. Do you know of any other buggy boards that will definitely fit and work well with this pram?
Thank you!
Heya, Flossy!
Well, there are two problems here. First, you use the Lascal Buggy Board Maxi with an ultra-compact - the smallest pushchairs on the market designated for traveling and occasional use only. Using a small pushchair with a large (Maxi) kiddy board is certainly not a good idea.
Next in line, overall a buggy board is not a good idea with any ultracompact. Like, honestly, please read this guide that describes why and how ultra-compact strollers should and should not be used. You might damage it over time - and even more so since The Pact Flex is on the lower end of the market, price-point-wise. Here's our other guide to read - anarticle about the advantages and disadvantages of a buggy board.
Ok, well, I warned you... moving on what will fit if you really have to be using a sibling skate with it - certainly try a smaller buggy board. Either the Lascal Buggy Board Mini, or maybe a universal Bumprider (comes in only one size). Do not put any seat on the buggy board and do count on worse maneuverability and center of gravity - the stroller, in any case, was not meant to be used with a kiddy ride.
Hey Eli,
My Joie Pact Signature Flex doesn't seem to give my little one the complete upright seating!
She is slightly slanted.
I've pulled the tabs as much as possible to make it upright! Do you have any advice on what to do?
She's just turned one and hates being in her pram, I'm taking the sling with me and the stroller every time I go out. As meltdowns occur being in the pram! Help please :(!
Rhianna xx
Hello, Rhianna,
I get what you mean - the seat is quite slanted on the Joie Pact line (and, unfortunately, on most ultra-compact strollers. It is given by the fact that the pushchair is made with one goal in mind - to be the smallest possible, meaning compromises in most other areas since the stroller's priority was to be the smallest possible.
The bad news is, you won't help yourself much. There is this thing you can try - and that is, to put a belt or any kind of strap behind the backrest and secure it around the bars under it to hold it more upright. I am not sure though that the small frame of such a compact stroller will allow it. Some buggies allow to rip the strap belts behind a bit to make it possible to pull it more (but I wouldn't risk it, it is possible mostly with prams like Britax B-Agile...
Other than that, there's not much else to do - except for changing the stroller. I mean, if your daughter hates the position she's in (I mean, when too slanted, the child does "hang" on the harness and that is not comfortable, you wouldn't like it either). It may change, but it probably won't... so the only answer is to change the stroller. You will see how she reacts differently. There are not many upright ultra-compacts, I can only think of a Chicco Goody (Chicco Goody in-depth stroller review here)... I would also consider getting a lightweight mid-size stroller, they're usually much comfier for the kids (think something in the size of a Mutsy Nexo... They don't even need to be completely upright strollers, actually - just the different anatomy of the stroller's seat will make a change, you'll see.
