Joie Finiti
The Joie Finiti is a reversible pushchair with the possibility to create a stroller system based on the popular, budget-friendly Joie Versatrax. The differences between the Joie Versatrax and the Joie Finiti are mainly in the details and finishes - the Finiti, belonging to the Signature line, boasts premium woven fabrics, leatherette detail on the upholstery, an extra seatback pocket, and a removable pocket on the rear side of the already large basket. What is more, the Finiti also features an extra Springy flex™ comfort suspension system absorbing the bumps in the seat (added to the all-wheel suspension that both Finiti and Versatrax are equipped with).
The Joie Finiti can be purchased as a fully reversible, lie-flat pushchair with a cup holder and a rain cover included. A nice feature of the pushchair would be the easy fold with the seat attached in both directions that also free-stands when folded. Optionally, with a set of Maxi-Cosi-style adapters, you can attach a foldable newborn carrycot Ramble, or the Joie/Maxi-Cosi/Cybex/Recaro/Kiddy and other car seats with the same attachment system, creating a full-featured from-birth travel system.

Parent reviews of the Joie Finiti
- Good value all-rounder
- Good on uneven paths
- One hand fold
- Easy to swap between parent / world facing and lie flat / upright
- Suspension in seat and all wheels
- Clips itself together when folded so stays upright / tidy
- Raincover is minimal faff
- Good handle height for tall people
- Short hood - extra shade needed
- Handle a bit loose
Very good value as an all-rounder. Decent steering, suspension, mid-weight, easy enough fold. Am pleased to find a pram suitable for a young baby which converts between parent / world facing and upright / lie flat so easily. Also good that it folds with seat on in parent facing mode.
I didn’t start using the seat mode and continued with a bassinet until baby was 3 months but it’s perfect now she can control her head and is w bit bigger and more in proportion to the harness / pads.
Raincover is minimal faff.
Would prefer hood to be longer. Have had to invest in a sunshade.
For an undemanding mum, awesome.
- Value for money
- Great, luxurious look
- Canopy
- Leg rest
I love the nice fabrics, comfy padding, and the push is very nice. The leather details look gorgeous and for the price, you get a lot of features. The canopy could be larger - mainly in the lay-flat, I mean, the seat is quite open... and if I were to change something more, I would make the leg rest longer.
Overall, a nice value for money and a beautiful reversible pushchair. And with a super roomy basket (the pouch that can be removed is 👍👍👍).
- price-performance
- stylish design
- roomy bassinet
- parent- and world-facing, lie-flat seat unit
- wheel size and quality
- incredible storage space
- nice removable pocket for small bits and pieces that you can carry on you like a bag
- telescoping handlebar - nice for my tall hubby
- ventilation
- leatherette details & fabrics finishes
- hood length - on both the bassinet and the seat
- wheels can get noisy
- handle is not super sturdy - it is on the looser side
I had picked the Joie Versatrax before, but then came the Triniti. Loved the style even more, and the price is more than nice. For that money, the value is immense.
We got it with the bassinet which is nice and large but maybe more shade in for of some sun visor would be nice to have... The seat seems similar to the Versatrax but there's extra suspension, they say. It could be more upright, but overall, I wanted a budget-friendly lie-flat and it's a nice one.
What I can criticize are the wheels - the size and quality I like, but they do get noisy on bumpy roads or on cobblestones.
Your questions about the Joie Finiti
Hi Eli,
I have a universal foot muff and am struggling to fold the Finiti in its rear facing mode without having to take the muff off. Have you found this?
Thanks!
Ellie
Hey, Ellie,
This is rather normal, and I don't have any solution really. I mean, the seat folds inwards, and is a reversible one, meaning a narrower one, surrounded by the frame, so a footmuff is in the way. So sorry ,but yu will have to remove it, or not finish the fold totally with the footmuff.
Hi there, I hope you’re doing well!
Can I use this it without a carrycot for a newborn? I saw in the comments that the Finiti has the ability to lie flat and I was wondering if I could use the stroller without a carrycot.
Thank you.
Hey, Ana,
In theory, you can. However, the seat will be a bit too big for a newborn, and a newborn baby needs a bit of safety - they prefer and feel cozier in more enclosed spaces. This is why, for the little one not to be too loose in this, I would recommend using it at least with a good footmuff, or a universal soft cor, or a baby reducer insert inside the seat if you won't be using a carrycot. OR you can opt for a reclinable car seat (like the Joie i-Level).
What is the material of the wheels? And how soft will it be to ride on tile sidewalks and bumps with this stroller? Thanks
(From original Russian: Какой материал колес? И насколько мягко будет ездить по плиточным тротуарам и кочкам на этой коляске? Спасибо)
Hi, Nataliia,
The wheels are foam-filled rubber, not completely soft but not too rattly. The material is rather ok for bumpy roads. A problem could be the front wheels that feel looser and can be noisy on cobblestones, however by inserting rubber bands in the joints, this can be minimized.
Hi Eli,
I have just opened up my Joie Finite, unboxing it, it came fully compactly folded but since assembly it stops folding this way, the handles don't go fully to the bottom even with some force. Is there anything I’m doing wrong? I’ve followed the manual, and it just keeps getting stuck 3 quarters of the way down and doesn’t stand.
Hey, Zee,
Well, it should not get stuck 3/4 in the fold, no. If you do all according to the manual (fold the seat forward and then lifting the stroller by the pull-on handle), and there is not something manually blocking the way (like a piece of fabric or something in the basket), there is most probably something damaged or malfunctioning. I believe you should contact customer service and ask for help/or send the stroller back.
I've put the canopy on wrong for the Finiti and want to remove it to start again. How do I get it off please?
Well, Emma,
I am not sure. It depends on how you put it on wrong - try reversing the process, detaching the side parts first. Without seeing what is wrong and what happened there, I cannot really give you an exact advice, I am sorry. I personally would try to go the other way than before, anddetaching it from the frame/or detaching the rods in it from the plastic base.
Joie Finiti Signature - I am using the stroller for my 4 month old and she is still quite small, she looks suffocated with the straps against her. Is there any way the straps can be adjusted?
Also, when I place my baby into the stroller, do the legs go into the straps too or is it just over the shoulder?
Hi, Haf,
There are possibilities to adjust the straps height-wise as well as length-wise, so you should make it so that the baby has the shoulder belts just above her shoulders. The higher ones should not go into those straps, no, but there is a crotch strap she should have between her legs.
Definitely consult the manual. It may be a smaller 4mo baby is too small for the seat - in that case, use a thinner footmuff, soft insert cot (universal one) or a cocoon to helo her feel more comfortable in the seat.
Hello,
Does the Joie Signature Finiti seat fit onto the Verstrax frame? I lost my Signature frame, but I was told they are the same?
Hi, Emz,
I don't think they are absolutely the same. They are functionally very similar, and even shape wise they are close. There is, however, a difference in the release mechanism on the sides of the seat, and the small differences in measurement and design might make it not possible to click on. I personally never tried, and did not hear they're the same, so I would rather say the frames are not compatible, the seat units not interchangeable.
You can try in a baby shop to confirm whether it can be done, or ask Joie directly, but I don't think the frame of one stroller was designed to accommodate the other (and vice versa), and even if somehow possible to push one seat into the other frame, the center of gravity, stability or other things may be affected. I personally would rather try to get a spare seat that should fit on the frame, so the original.
Is the Joie Signature Finiti pushchair compatible with the Joie Baby i-Gemm 3 baby car seat?
Hiya, Sara,
Yes, with the Joie Finiti adapters, you should be able to click the i-Gemm 3 on the frame without problems, the attachment stayed the same.
Is the rain cover supposed to fit into the detachable bag? I can’t fit it in and I thought the whole point of the bag was to keep the adapters and raincover inside.
Hey there,
well, if one is very very patient and folds the rain cover carefully, it, at least in theory, should fit the bag. I know, however, that the rain cover gets huge after its first unpacking, and it may just not fit in there. I would use the pouch for adapters and/or any other smaller necessities and take the rain cover out in the main basket only when I needed it, however, I rarely used one. You will have to find a way that fits you, or get a smaller universal rain cover (Elodie Details has smaller ones, for ex.).
Good afternoon! What car seats (except Joie) fit this stroller? Thank you in advance.
(From original: Добрый день! Какие автокресла (кроме Joie) подходят к данной коляске. Заранее спасибо)
Hi, Anna,
With the Joie adapters, you can also click on Maxi-Cosi, Cybex, Kiddy, Recaro, Clek Liing, Avionaut, and other car seats with the same = Maxi-Cosi style attachment on this stroller.
