X-Lander X-Cite

see 5 parent reviews

The X-Lander X-Cite is a stroller with an original design. The chassis is more open, so you can access the shopping basket without any difficulty. Thanks to the expandable part, it can handle even a mountain of shopping. The front LED lights ensure good visibility even when you are strolling in poor lighting conditions. The wheels with mild suspension can handle all kinds of urban terrain.

The bucket seat can be reversed and tilted to a fully reclined position. You can also adjust the leg rest with the integrated mosquito net. The seat is suitable for children from 6 months of age. The optional insert allows the seat to be used even for a smaller baby. With the purchase of an optional carrycot and/or a car seat, you can convert the stroller into any desired set. It is also available as a complete stroller system.

The X-Cite underwent a facelift in 2016. You can identify the pre-2016 models by the absence of the LED lights and by the non-extendable shopping basket. The hood was extended with a sun visor, which was removed for 2017 but was added back in 2018. The older models came with a seat liner included. The carrycot has been redesigned - the new X-Pram Light is considerably more spacious.

Modern stroller for the city

4
  • Seat part usable in both directions
  • Bucket seating
  • Large storage space
  • Lightweight
  • Usable only on a smoother surface

A modern stroller for the city, lightweight.

  • Wonderful stroller for travelling for example by train or car - it is compact and lightweight
  • A disaster for walks on worse terrain, but the name suggests it's a stroller for the city :-)
  • Short canopy

I am very happy with the stroller, but it has its cons.

  • Reflective elements
  • Belly bar
  • Handle
  • Storage
  • Easy one-handed operation
  • Wheels
  • Net
  • Easy to clean
  • The canopy, when the part is stretched out - in the summer, when we want to raise the slats to ventilate - often falls down
  • When the canopy is unzipped, the branded stitching gets stuck
  • Impractical brake - we scratch the basket
  • When we enlarge the basket, it happened to us that we lost things
  • The strap gets stuck when positioning when the seat is turned in the direction of travel

This stroller is beautiful, but it would be nice to correct a few downsides.

  • Easy handling
  • Storage
  • A stylish stroller
  • Front wheel rattled
  • Short hood on the pushchair part

I had the stroller as my first. When I evaluate it after time, it was good. We were bothered that after a few walks the front wheels started to rattle - otherwise the stroller was super compact, lightweight and handled well.
