Phil&Teds Go Double

The separable single-to-double inline buggy
.eli

The Phil&Teds Go Inline Double is a double - tandem variation of the Phil&Teds Go buggy that can be converted to a double one-behind-the-other sibling or twin pram. Similar to the Babyzen Yoyo Connect , the Go Double is an accessory-based system that can connect one Go behind the other, allowing for a from-birth use for both children.

Apart from two world-facing, fully-reclinable seats, one or two cocoon bassinet accessories and/or one or two car seats with Maxi-Cosi style of adapters can be used for babies from birth. A mix and match, colorful seat liner is included with the stroller but can be bought separately to change the look from time to time as well.

Your questions about the Phil&Teds Go Double

1)

Hi,

I’m really contemplating this stroller as a double for my girls. I was curious as to how well it fairs in regards to going up and down bumps if you can get on transport with to the double, or will it not go up the step?

Thanks in advance x

Hey, Sophie,

The Go Double is a double version of a travel stroller. It is very simple and meant for undemanding walks, smoother surfaces, and holidays. Personally, I would not really take this for a more demanding use - as you are asking, public transport (the stroller is long for that and will be a real pain to push up a stair, not for a lot of curb-lifting in general. So, for occasional use, it is a very nice model. For public transport, a side-by-side or something more substantial would be a better choice.

I'm interested to buy this twin stroller, but some reviews regarding not comfortable seats & poor quality got me worried. What do you suggest (for 2 newborns in a city / apartment)? Thank you in advance.

Heya, SM,

Well, this is a TRAVEL model, so I can honestly tell you that yeah, comfort-wise, it is not the best stroller. It is not meant to be a comfort stroller, though, this is meant for occasional use. For two newborn babies and an everyday kind of use, I would definitely not recommend it, I would go for something much more substantial. That also means a more expensive model, especially if you need a double, and also a larger, bulkier fold unfortunately - but one can only have one or the other.

My suggestion for twins from birth, from the simpler lighter options, would be the Valco Snap Duo. Similarly, the Baby Jogger City Mini Double2 could work. And if Phil&Teds in-line strollers made you think of this one, the Phil&Teds Voyager could be a nice model to check out (however the seats are much less spacious).
