Peg-Pérego Switch Four

The Peg-Pérego Switch Four (also known as the Four Jet, due to the jet black chassis) is an evolution of the Pliko P3 model. It is a rather robust umbrella stroller with many features of a full-sized stroller. The Switch Four version comes with a reversible seat and agile single wheels. The chassis is easily maneuverable and equipped with a suspension system. The stroller can be folded even with the seat still attached. When folded, the telescopic handlebar enables the stroller to stand independently, so it does not take up much storage space.

The padded seat can be reclined flat, including the leg rest. This makes the stroller suitable even for small babies. To provide even more comfort for a newborn, you can pair the seat up with an optional newborn insert or a nest. To create a full-featured, from-birth stroller system, the chassis is compatible even with the Navetta Pop Up carrycot or the Primo Viaggio car seat without the need for adapters (both sold separately). The complete modular system is also available; it comes with a changing bag included. There is also an option to purchase only the chassis and create any desired combination with just the parts you need. The Switch Four is manufactured mainly for the western market.

Your questions about the Peg-Pérego Switch Four

1)

Where can I purchase the bumper bar?

Hey, Ginger,

Spare parts are very hard to come by, so your best bet would be THE seller of your pushchair. They should simply order it for you from an official distributor for your country or directly the manufacturer.

Next in line, you can also try to contact the manufacturer's (Peg Pérego's) customer service for your country.

And, lastly, you can browse classifieds or eBay – there can be someone selling just the part you need (in this case, a belly bar) or the whole (e.g., damaged) pushchair for parts.

That is pretty much all you can do. I wish you the best of luck! And don't forget to leave a review of your Switch Four HERE to help other parents by a minute of your time ^_^

2)

Hello,

I already have this stroller for my 4-year-old daughter and I have a 10-month-old baby. I would like to know if I can add a small bench back so the big one can sit back and the small one forward.

Hi, Meryem,

The answer is yes and no, actually. You should not, to be honest, add a bench seat or a sibling kiddy board in the back of an umbrella stroller because of the not-to-sturdy chassis and the possibility of making the frame, therefore, very loose to rattly if putting that much strain on the rear part.

That being said, there is already a small little place integrated into the chassis of this buggy where your older 4-years-old can stand on while holding on to the frame. Again, this is an occasional-to-emergency measure and your pushchair will get loose over time if overused this way.

Lastly, if you really need to attach a sibling "skate" with a bench behind, and you don't mind your stroller being perhaps structurally damaged over time, you can add a universal board like Lascal or Bumprider.
