Moon ReSea

The compact though sturdy urban do-it-all
see 13 parent reviews

The Moon ReSea is new for 2019. Thanks to the foldable seat, this modern stroller/stroller system offers a very compact fold for its size. The chassis is also equipped with a suspension which, combined with the lightweight rubber wheels, makes the ReSea able to handle uneven surfaces. The luxurious look of the stroller is underlined by the structured fabrics, minimalistic shapes, and leatherette details. Another advantage is the shopping basket with a separate rear pocket.

The reversible seat unit is softly padded and can be reclined flat in whichever direction. The seat features an extendable, ventilated hood. For smaller children, you will need either a carrycot or an optional Maxi-Cosi type car seat. Adapters for the car seat are already included with the stroller. Apart from those, the ReSea only comes with a rain cover included. Any other accessories are available separately. For 2019, special editions include Scala Portofino with cream color details and shiny, wood-patterned rims, Scala London with red leatherette embroidery inspired by street art, and Scala Florence in neutral tones with a flower pattern.

parents say thx^^

It met my expectations

  • super light
  • controllable with one hand
  • high quality and thick covers
  • cushioning is very good
  • fast folding
  • I miss a more extendable canopy

Like, I have nothing to criticize with this pram. It met my expectations. Only the canopy could have a better extension.

  • Nice looking
  • Comfortable, but not for larger children (up to about 12-13 kg and smaller)
  • Lightweight
  • Looks great, but I think the price is a bit too high (not worth it) 😉
  • Larger toddler won't fit, the canopy is too low (the little one is 12 months old and is at the end - he rubs his head on the canopy and it is a tight fit for the seat)
  • Too bad they didn't have it anywhere in the store to try it out, but we'll use it a bit 😉

A beautiful, modern sports stroller. Lightweight, looks great, but I expected more for the price. A larger toddlermy won't fit - my little one is 12 months old and rubs his head on the roof when it is pulled open.

Otherwise, the canopy is ôarge (XXL), superb against wind and sun. I expected, from the pictures, that it was more spacious, but it's quite tight - too bad it wasn't in the shop, so we could try it out. Easy to handle, wheels great, we will use it till we can and pass on 😉

The perfect city stroller

  • Light
  • Compact
  • Easy to steer
  • Harder, not equipped with a soft suspension system

For me the perfect city stroller. Fits even in small lifts, it is sturdy, lightweight, folds well - especially if one does it often (for the car). I even got properly wet in the rain with it and it didn't get wet through at all, even though it's cloth. I am hugely satisfied.

Suitable for the city only

  • Compact
  • Affordable
  • Modern design with quality fabric
  • Car seat adapters and rain cover included
  • A bit of a rattle on bumpy terrain

I am satisfied with the stroller. It is suitable for the city only, as it doesn't handle bigger bumps very well - as it is a hard stroller without much suspension.

  • Closes easy and small to get into car
  • It is very light important for us to push easily or lift
  • Beautiful design
  • Great price, value for money

I picked this model basically for the minimal style because all the others were huge and turns out I made the right choice 👍👍👍

A bit too little space between the head and the canopy when the child is bigger. But otherwise for the money it's great. Light, nimble, easy to handle, big enough basket... The canopy could be a bit larger. But it's not for bigger kids - max up to about 1,5-2yrs. The black loses its color pretty quickly in the sun...

  • compact
  • affordable
  • less spacious than larger pushchairs

Very compact and nimble. Fantastic for those first two years - after that it might be too small. Great value for money. Recommended even for small car boots.

A stroller with a very elegant look

  • Appearance
  • Lightness
  • Width
  • Loops on the canopy, suitable for hanging toys
  • Suspension
  • Adjusting of the hood

A stroller with a very elegant look. In winter, the inside of the stroller is warm, so a thinner cosytoes is enough. The mattress is super thick and firm enough so that the child is not drowned in it, but at the same time it absorbs shocks. It's lightweight, folds quickly and fits in narrow aisles in shops, through narrow doors on trains or in small lifts.

The handle is extendable, not foldable, which suits me fine. The downsides are the unsprung wheels and the safety folding of the canopy (you need to hold 2 knobs to fold the canopy - I miss having a third hand). I haven't tried the seat unit yet.

  • Small folded size
  • Easy to fold and open with one hand
  • Very easy to maneuver (even with one hand)
  • Design
  • Weight
  • Quality of the materials
  • Folding with the seat
  • Good quality mattress in the carry cot
  • Too tight suspension springs and trembling carry cot when off-road
  • Air section on the carry cot hood: as it is not fixed, it goes up every time when the hood is opened. It always has a gap for airflow, which is not so good for cold weather
  • Two buttons to open/close the hood on the carry cot (to have it on one side would be so much easier)
  • Carry cot size: if you have to use it in winter with a baby of 4 months, it is too small. It is also difficult to find a snow bag (footmuff) that fits inside as all are bigger. But if you use it during warm periods, the size should not be a problem

Choosing the stroller, in addition to the quality and safety, we had the following requirements: small folded size, folding with the seat, suitable for all roads, and low weight. We have been using the stroller for 3 months by now with the carry cot. Overall we are very satisfied with the choice. And it is the most compact folded stroller we could find. It is very easy to maneuver it!

We love the design, quality of the materials used. The wheels are indeed suitable for all roads, but the suspension springs are very tight, and with carry cot is installed with adapters, we avoid any off-road as even now, the baby is shaken too much. When we use it with the car seat, off-road is much better. This is the main disappointment we have so far.

Another thing we don't like is that the air section on the carry cot hood is not closed with a zip or Velcrom, as it opens every time the hood is closed/open, and it always has a gap.

  • Design
  • Price
  • Stable, sturdy chassis
  • Low weight
  • Compact folded dimensions
  • Folds with the seat unit in both directions
  • Quiet, no noise while pushing
  • Rubber wheels
  • Large basket
  • Fully adjustable seat unit
  • Seat unit smaller in size (maximum up to 2.5years without a footmuff)
  • Short leg rest
  • The canopy could be longer
  • No ventilation window on the canopy
  • No lock that would keep the stroller folded

I purchased this stroller pre-loved, used for one year. I was a bit afraid for it to be a squeaking too-urban-of-a-rattle (since even new, it's relatively affordable) but I was very pleasantly surprised :-)

The stroller is sturdy, stable, the ride is comfy and quiet, the materials feel high-quality, and look stylish. It's also really lightweight and compact after folding - we could fit it in our tiny Ford Fiesta car boot. Everything on this stroller felt easy and practical to use. The handlebar adjusts in height, suiting everyone, and there are no noises, which I already witnessed with much more expensive strollers. It's covered in leatherette that has a tendency to slide down over time, but it's an easy fix doable with only hands.

The space between the rear wheels is empty, meaning no kicking the axle is happening. The wheels are made out of rubber, puncture-free, and there are no stones getting in it. They are wider in diameter, so they can go through some light terrain. Still, they are perfectly maneuverable because only a thin strip is actually touching the surface if it's smooth. The suspension is not very soft, but it's completely enough for usual urban surfaces with some unevennesses. The large basket is a big plus as well.

The seat unit is rather small in size. Our daughter was using it even for naps until her two years, but her feet were already too long for it at that time. When the leg rest was down, it was doable. The hood extends, but it would be nice if it had a sun visor or other kind of shade (or some more extending parts). I would also welcome some kind of air ventilation in it - there's a mesh window, but it's on such a place that the child gets the sun on its head or face, so we had to have it closed. Otherwise, the reversibility was a very nice feature to have, and that also goes for the backrest and leg rest adjustment.

For that price, a handy, practical stroller of quality ;-)

Your questions about the Moon ReSea

How do I wash the fabric parts of the seat, can I take them off?

Hiya, Georgia,

The fabrics are hand wash only here, they are not removable and washable. Be sure to reat this guide of ours about stroller cleaning and maintenance, I have put together all the necessary stroller-washing tips in there.
