Joie Crosster

DISCONTINUED in 2020
see 9 parent reviews

The Joie Crosster is a robust, all-terrain three-wheeler with a massive hood that can be extended so that in a fully reclined seat it reaches over the bumper bar. The hood also features two bottle holder pockets. The Crosster's wheels are equipped with maintenance-free tires and an adjustable suspension, making the stroller glide over any terrain. Thanks to the presence of a handbrake, the Crosster is even suitable for light jogging. You can recline the non-reversible seat fully. Thanks to the high weight capacity, it can handle even a heavier child. The Crosster can also accommodate a newborn thanks to the possibility of adding a carrycot (the Ramble) or a car seat using adapters.

parents say thx^^
  • large stroller with high load capacity
  • the metal tip is immediately scuffed during handling

Great room for the baby, great ground clearance, huge basket, can be put upright, handbrake.

Just love at first sight

High seat, the child has a superb view, and mom doesn't have to slouch so much :-) Huge basket, good riding characteristics even in bigger terrain, quick release wheels, plus beautiful colour... Just love at first sight :-)

  • Tackles any terrain
  • It's heavy, but you'll get used to it

We couldn't have asked for a better stroller for terrain.

Great for the woods or hiking

4
  • Sturdy
  • Comfortable
  • Lots of pockets
  • Easy to handle
  • Pretty
  • Heavy but what would I want for the price, right 😊
  • When folded in the car, the front is easily scratched

Great for the woods or hiking, it's good for running too. It has good stability, so there's no risk of tipping over.

Made for uneven and difficult terrain

I bought this pram based on an advice I read here - I had no idea such a pushchair exists...

I have three children, so I have already tried quite a few prams, and this one made all the other ones look really poor. It's THE pushchair to get! Robust, solid, perfect suspension on the wheels - which I needed since we live in a village - and the stroller is really made for uneven and difficult terrain!

I wasn't, I admit, a fan of three-wheeled strollers, but now I wouldn't want another one - it a completely different maneuvering and push.

I will never swap this one

4
  • A great all-terrain push
  • Non-inflatable, large rubber wheels
  • Suspension
  • Spacious - my three years old can comfortably nap in it, when we're in our garden
  • A bit heavier, but it makes it sit on the road better

For me the best, and it's our fourth pushchair. I will never swap this one. Just one little niggle with it, the canopy faded after summer. We own the Crosster Signature in blue colour.

Met all of our requirements

5
  • Ultimately large canopy
  • Literally for every terrain
  • A lot of space for the child
  • No need to inflate the wheels

It met all of our requirements.

The best jogger there is. Incredibly good wheels that will pass through literally everything. A huge hood that will cover the whole child, even in the fully reclined position - if it's raining, you don't even need a rain cover, the little one won't get wet. I recommend it mostly for taller parents. Even taller toddlers have plenty of space in the seat. The pushchair is a little heavy, but that is so worth all its other features.

A top pushchair for me so far. The only negative being that is is heavy, nothing else to complain about ❤️ The changing bag is very large. The canopy is simply perfect. My DD loves it - she would sit half a day in it no problem 🙂

Your questions about the Joie Crosster

1)

Hi,

I have a Crosster pushchair for my grandson and I can't remember how to unfold it.

Hey, Jean,

Here's a link to the Joie Crosster's manual - right on the page 2, there's the exact way (pulling on the lever to unlock the fold lock, and opening the handle while doing that).

2)

Is there a carry cot that fits the Crosster please?

Hey, Tina,

The Joie Ramble carrycot fits the Crosster - WITH the car seat/carrycot adapters (they are U-shaped on one side).

3)

Is there a footmuff for this pram to keep those tiny toes warm in the winter?

Hey, Cynthia,

There is no original "Joie Crostter" footmuff, however you can go for any universal one with this pram. I personally like the Lodger Bunker very much, but any universal footmuff you find in a baby shop or on Amazon should be just fine. Also, any Joie footmuff, like the one for the Versatrax, should be alright, too.
