Easywalker Rudey
.eli
The Easywalker Rudey was released at the end of 2020, and a renewed, modernized continuation of the Easywalker Mosey+. This stroller system focuses on practicality achieved by its relatively low weight (compared to the full-size capabilities of the stroller), as well as a compact fold achievable even with the seat unit attached in any direction.
The seat unit can be folded in half for the pushchair to fold compactly enough - but that's not its only benefit. It's spacious even for a larger toddler (which it can take thanks to the high, 22kg weight capacity), even if it's fully reversible. The hood extends by unzipping a mesh, ventilated panel, and also a solid sun visor. The seat offers a full lie-flat as well as an adjustable, extendable leg rest that grows with the child. The Rudey carrycot was also innovated, meaning it's larger, padded with sustainable bio-cotton, and it's inclinable for babies suffering from reflux.
The stroller chassis is equipped with individual, four-wheel suspension and a telescoping handlebar. The large, puncture-free rubber wheels and the spacious storage basket are other benefits of the Rudey travel system. An extra feature of the Rudey would be its compatibility with optional accessories - a steering wheel, a LED light, a cup holder, or a phone holder that click on one of the two integrated points (on the handlebar and the bumper bar), depending on where it suits you or your baby. There's even an option of a sibling board. You'll only get a rain cover with the 2in1 stroller system set - other accessories are sold separately.

Best Deals for Easywalker Rudey
Parent reviews of the Easywalker Rudey
- Lovely colour
- Great for tricky terrain
- Took some time to work out how to use all the different buttons and settings
Brilliant, stylish pram. Wheels cope very well in the countryside, including long grass.
- Looks OK
- Adjustable head position (for newborns)
- Front (steering) wheels are squeaky and rattling on even rather smooth surfaces which is unacceptable
Good-looking but Easywalker Rudey has crappy front (steering) wheels which ruin it completely for us.
Really roomy. Nice large wheels. Folds with the seat. Awesome basket.
- price is good for the value offered
- roomy seat as well as bassinet
- great accessories, I love the LED light and of course my son does the steering wheel (he's driving the stroller)
- steering wheel accessory is squeaking loudly :-D
A sturdy model for all kinds of terrain. Better for tall parents, even if the seat/bassinet sit not-so-high on the frame. Recommended to last the whole stroller-needing time.
- spacious seat
- large basket
- hood coverage
- large wheels
- handle not the best for very short moms
- mest on the extending panel of the hood
- not the lightest
Quite compact for the full size and the spacious - reversible - seat unit. A four-year-old fit inside even! Large basket, hood nicer even than in the photographs, and a very tall handle to go with it. We liked it, and can recommend it!
I returned it. The front wheels rattled, idk why, maybe a faulty piece.
- sturdy
- reliable
- turning/lifting could be more agile (you need two hands)
- bumper bar should open more/easier
Very sturdy - I could even run with it, no tipping to the sides. Problems with quick turning and lifting to get up curbs. I would also make the gate-opening on the bumper bar open even more - it had to be partially opened then folded down, and if not done properly, a child might be able to hand on it a break it. Overall, a very solid, quality pram.
Your questions about the Easywalker Rudey
When you say the handle is too high for short moms, what height do you picture? I am 161cm high...
Hey, Duddana,
I would say the stroller might be too high, handlebar-wise, for people around 150-160 cm. I think you can absolutely drive it at 161 cm, as it depends on more than just the centimeters, but also how it handles for you, in your hands, how is your style of walking, etc. - but I would strongly recommend trying it out (loaded with a baby or a bag full of shopping) before buying, as the handling and build of the stroller may make it harder for you to push.
Hi, Eli,
Can you tell me approximately what’s the height of the bassinet once put on the frame? As there are no height adapters so I am not sure it’s right for relatively high parents (173 and 184 cm). Thanks!!
Hi, Ellie ^_^
I must say I did not measure the height of the bottom of the bassinet from the ground, I am sorry; BUT - I, myself, am 176 cm tall (my hubby 188 cm tall) and the bassinet position didn't feel too low to me nor to him (he would probably like a few cm more but not once did he say it was a problem nor the pram didn't look too low to him). It was actually higher than on the [[easywalker-harvey-3|Easywalker Harvey] without the height adapters, so no worries there.
Also, the handlebar on the Easywalker Rudey (full stroller review here) was quite tall, for sure not made for very short parents.
I wouldn't be too worried as this is, in my opinion, a stroller system for taller parents and not once did I feel like this should go to a shorter person than myself. Also, keep in mind you'll use the carrycot only a few months, the seat unit is much more important from the long-term point of view ;-)
