Concord Quix

DISCONTINUED in 2016
see 2 parent reviews

The Concord Quix is the first Concord umbrella stroller. It was released in 2013. The chassis is sleek and easy to maneuver in the city or stores. The central brake is located on the handlebar, atypically for an umbrella stroller. The seat is one of the most spacious that you will find among umbrella strollers. You can only recline it partially. For greater safety the 5-point harness can be locked so that a child cannot undo it. You can extend the hood with a large pop-out sun visor. Another unique feature is a detachable handle cover. It can be used to place an insert usable, for example, for flowers.

parents say thx^^
  • Extremely light
  • Very easy to fold and unfold
  • Compact
  • Sturdy, has already carted 3 children around
  • Infinitely variable backrest
  • Locking mechanism for the canopy can get damaged during folding
  • Parking brake needed "improvement" because the cables ate through the plastic console that hoises them
  • Small baggage basket

Built light, bought because of that. Has disadvantages, but the lightness and ease of use make up for them. Yes, not the most practical, yes, not the most thought out, but if lightness and maneouveravility are what you are looking for, look no further.

  • Pretty design
  • Handy folding and unfolding
  • High-quality five-point-harness that you can lock to not get open easily
  • The upholstery got dirty all the time and was hard to clean
  • A small basket that is not sturdy
  • Small space for the child in the seat
  • Short canopy
  • Rattling double wheels

I bought this buggy for my son because I liked the design. I would not buy it again, however. The folding and unfolding are simple, and so the weight was alright, but driveability-wise, 0/10. Even a small unevenness on the road and the buggy felt like breaking apart. The footrest even broke during the summer (I guess because of the warm weather). The upholstery was terrible - always dirty, low quality, not padded enough for the child, and the cleaning was just a pain in the ass, so hard... I had to work super hard, and still, it didn't get completely clean, no matter how much I tried.

The shopping basket was tiny, made out of (weak) mesh, and nothing really fit in there. The backrest reclining is operated by straps and doesn't lay completely flat. Those double wheels a catastrophe again - gravel road meant rattling the soul out of my child. If you're not buying it for shopping malls only (I think it was made only for that), I don't recommend it. My little one also didn't like it.
