Parent reviews of the Chicco Trolley Me
You are saying that the Chicco Trolley Me is not made for all terrain, admit it's not made to use it in the street or everyday use, just on holidays. May I add that there are streets on a holiday as well, and this explanation is not enough to describe this extremely flimsy, weak and poor quality product.
Most of us look for an affordable stroller that we can conveniently push in the street and use it every day, without dragging a more massive, all-terrain buggy out every day, which is not convenient. I think the brand should look into improving this product to stand out, as I can see negative comments about it everywhere, and it's not very convincing. Chicco is losing customers if they don't make changes.
It's simply not good enough. A thumb down from me.
- Easy to fold and Unfold
- Light Weight
- Budget friendly
- Wheels tend to squeak
Bought it for our upcoming trip as I don’t want to bring my full sized pram. Tried it a few times during shopping and we loved it. Very convenient to use, easy to manoeuvre. Can’t wait to use it for our first family holiday…
- lightweight & compact
- for a nice price
- colors
- very basic
We use it as a spare for shopping, and for that it’s nice.
- Looks
- Space
- Fold (even though not for every airplane
- Simple
- Could be cheaper
- Canopy is not large enough
It's a bit simple. Nice space in the seat. Easy fold. The handle for pulling behind you is also nice. Doesn't fit every airplane company requirement for a cabin luggage, though. Short canopy.
Your questions about the Chicco Trolley Me
Help my Chicco Trolley Me is making a squeaky sounds after my 1st use. I tried to remove and re-attached the 4 wheels but the squeaky noise is still there. I don’t want to buy a new one, as I really like it and I don’t want to spend extra money for a 3rd stroller. thanks
Hi, Lou,
As a budget buggy, it is not perfect by far. However, squeaking wheels out of the box are most often just lack of lubrication. Get a WD-40, or better yet a silicone spray (watch out for the rubber with the silicone spray and only use it on the metal part); you will most probably be fine after that.

Hi
How do I get in touch with Chicco? My Chicco Trolley Me stroller is really struggling with the tiny wheels and is dangerous near the roads or nearly tipping child out – it is only 6 weeks old and been used 5 times.
Regards Sue
Hi, Sue,
I am attaching the contact for Chicco here. You can try reaching out, and you cal also try to reach out to the seller you bought your stroller at.
However, the problem is, that as an ultracompact (read more about those here), this is definitely an occasional travel stroller suitable for smoother roads, malls, airports and holidays. I think they might just tell you the same - and as a true budget stroller, you cannot expect it to perform any good on gravel, stones, bumps, or even everyday rides.
My suggestion would be to use it for what it is really made, for the car and real occasional walks + traveling, and for everyday normal bumpy roads use, I would get something a bit larger, with a bit larger wheels and better suspension.
And remember, the more you'll save on the stroller's price, the fewer comfort features and quality materials it is going to have. You cannot expect a low-end stroller to be so small and also all-terrain.
Hi, can this stroller go onboard flights? Thanx
Heya, Kim,
With the folded dimensions of 59 cm x 49.5 cm x 24 cm, it should be able to get on board as a piece of carry-on, cabin luggage, yes. However, the dimensions accepted differ from airline to airline, so you definitely need to consult those before your flight – some have, for example, a limit of height set to 55 cm. Sometimes, however, they still let you take it on board ^_^ so check, but don't obsess. Worst comes to worst, you will give your stroller away when boarding the plane, and it will be returned to you when getting off.
Hi,
Is the seat on this bolt upright? My wee boy likes to sit forward and I find a lot of strollers lie back too far in the sitting position which makes it really uncomfortable for him. I've tried just using harness around his waist but it doesn't feel safe enough.
Hi there!
Well, I'll disappoint you, pretty much NO ultracompact stroller is a stroller with a completely upright seat. I am sorry. The seatback, even of those that are relatively upright, is almost always at least a little angled, and here, it's actually more than a little angled, so no, this seat back does not sit bolt upright.
I do suggest reading this top ultracompact strollers of 2021 to inspire yourself, and, also, our Strolberry guides on how to choose a stroller... and from budget strollers (which the Chicco Trolley Me certainly is), I will only tell you - do count on MANY compromises in terms of quality, terrain capability, features of the pushchair, and, of course, the upright seat as well.
I would much rather suggest a mid-size stroller, not a travel ultra-compact one, and, also, rather a higher model - even if pre-loved - than a cheaper one (while expecting too much of it). For example, the Mamas&Papas Airo claims a rather upright seat for an ultracompact, but it's a more expensive buggy... And from Chicco, the Chicco Goody Plus is more upright than the Trolley Me BUT still not completely upright...
Perhaps look at Peg-Pérego pushchairs; they are more upright than most.
