Babystyle Oyster Atom 2
The Babystyle Oyster Atom 2 is a model released at the end of 2019, and a continuation of the original ultra-compact Oyster Atom. Still very light and compact, the second-generation Atom is a bit larger - but also more capable on uneven sidewalks or other more demanding urban surfaces. Weighing over 9 kg, with a one-handed fold, and larger, improved wheels, it will be a good companion on car trips - but also on everyday walks as an alternative to a full-size stroller, if you simply don't have space for such.
The chassis features individual, shock-absorbing suspension. You recline the backrest fully so that even a child that doesn't sit by itself yet can be comfortable in the seat. Thanks to being sufficient spacious and with a higher, 22kg load capacity, even a larger child will fit in the seat. In summer, you will appreciate the large zipper-open canopy with a sun visor that you can open at the back for optimal ventilation.

Your questions about the Babystyle Oyster Atom 2
Would this be suitable to take on a plane?
Hi, Rachel,
You can take pretty much ANY stroller on a plane as the baby's free luggage (if the baby's under a certain age). If it doesn't comply with the hand luggage requirements/mostly the dimensions after folding, they will take it from you when boarding and give it back when getting off the airplane.
About the dimensions of the Oyster Atom2 - they are, unfortunately, too large for the carry-on measurements of most airlines - that is why we state a No in the plane-friendliness section in the specifications under The Fold (just click on them next time). Most airlines won't accept it as hand luggage with the dimensions of 64 cm x 57 cm x 27 cm - but be sure to check the requirements for a carry on piece of luggage of your airline, maybe you'll be in luck and they'd accept it (most airlines accept only a length of under 60 cm, I'm afraid).
Hi is this a good stroller for compact, lightweight, and used for travel but also everyday use for a larger toddler who naps in it? Thanks
Hey there, again,
This is a very nice little stroller, and a bit larger = a more durable, comfier model that the Oyster Atom 1st generation as well as than the Baby Jogger City Tour 2, so it is certainly better suited to (occasional) naps and more regular use. So for sure, it is a better option, but still, I'd go for something mid-size like the Baby Jogger City Mini 4 if you'd have the budget and space for that.
