This is just one of the reviews of the X-Lander XA stroller. Check for more reviews, specifications, or ask our stroller expert: Go to X-Lander XA detail

We had two XA models

  • Spacious seat
  • Full reclining seat positioning
  • Extendable canopy
  • Relatively large front and rear wheels for off-road use
  • Stroller weight
  • Seat cannot be positioned with one hand
  • Seat cannot be put on rearward facing
  • Stroller has no suspension, is quite stiff on the ground
  • Not compact, hard to fit in a smaller car boot - wheels have to be removed

A spacious sports stroller for children aged 0-36 months. We had two XA models. One from 2009 which we used as a second stroller for the garden, grandma's etc. And then a newer one from 2017.

I can't fail to add that as stressed as the 2009 model was, it was still solid and sturdy even after nine years. Nothing squeaked anywhere, the wheels didn't squeak, the folding of the structure was also fine.

By contrast, the 2017 model was in the same condition, perhaps even worse than the 2009 model, after just a month of daily use. The handle had loosened, the brake had started to fall off on its own at times. The front wheels were clicking after a month. The rear right wheel had a broken release mechanism. I dare say of myself that I value things and handle them with care - even more so when it is a new stroller.
