Venicci Tinum 2.0
.eli
The Venicci Tinum 2.0 is a full-featured, mid-size, reasonably light&compact stroller system and a 2021 second generation of the original Venicci Tinum. The difference between the Vnicci Tinum and the Tinum 2.0 is, first and foremost, in the updated carrycot. Not only has it an extra ventilation "panorama" window in the lower part, but an added sun visor is also a new feature for 2021. The fabrics were also updated, the patterns made much modern, and the bassinet's mattress is much wider and colored in grey, also with a diamond pattern stitching. A footmuff with a magnetic attachment system is included with the Tinum 2.0 seat that can now hold up to 22 kg, and the seat sports a new style of harness buckle as well. The leg rest also got an enhancement and can now be adjusted not only in height but also in length. The design of the whole system (as well as the renewed, included changing bag) is more streamlined, with a Venicci logo on the handlebar and just the symbol on the central joints and a glossy black plastic finish around the handle. The Tinum 2.0 boasts new colorways (including the premium SE collection) available.
The Tinum 2.0 can normally be bought as a 2in1 or a 3in1 from-birth system. It includes a spacious, foldable, and inclinable bassinet with a ventilation viewing window as well as the "balcony" style window, a reversible, lie-flat seat unit, and the optional car seat with Maxi-Cosi/Cybex style of attachment. A set of accessories (footmuff, rain covers, changing bag, and car seat adapters) is included with the pram set as well.

Parent reviews of the Venicci Tinum 2.0
- Elegant
- Roomy carrycot
- Compact fold (with the seat only, however)
- Great for petite mums, also thanks to the adjustable handle
- Heavy
- Bulky
- Storage access
Very elegant, and convenient for a petite mum. Not the lightest, though - I only take it somewhere if my hubby tags along as well 😊 But the carrycot is so comfy for the baby and the pram looks gorgeous.
Still, the storage is not accessible with the carrycot.
Your questions about the Venicci Tinum 2.0
I have had my pram since March, has anyone experienced rust very quick?! Only gets used on pavements 😩
Hey, Olivia,
You probably got an older model. Venicci is btw, at least as far as I know, coming from Poland, so not that luxury a brand in general, but it shouldn't rust so quick. I would, personally, try to claim warranty / ask for a frame replacement. There are, also, anti-rust products you can try, but it's not a nice work and you need to wear protective gloves.
How many hours is safe for baby to sleep in carrycot? Is carrycot suitable for sleeping?
Heya,
Well, yes - and a tiny no to the safe sleeping in the carrycot. I mean, yes, it is absolutely safe for any baby to sleep in the carrycot DURING THE DAY and for a few minutes to few hours long naps. Babies, in general, can sleep up to 16 hours a day (and more) right after birth, and yes, a lot of it will be in a pram/carrycot when going out. Do not worry about your little one sleeping inside, he or she is supposed to do that ^_^
On the other hand, for long-time (6-10 hours) NIGHT sleeps, you SHOULD NOT use a carrycot instead of a crib or a bed. There are few bassinets certified for such use, but overall, it should not be used like that because of a few points:
- a carrycot is LESS SPACIOUS and with LESS AIR going in, meaning increasing the risk of SIDS especially at a time parents are sleeping and not overseeing a baby (aka during the night)
- the matters of a normal carrycot is fine for the few hours during the day and walks but not as firm and high-quality as a thicker bed/cor/crib matters meant for overnight sleeping
- and, there's no safe way to use your carrycot with a baby monitor, as the bottom is not made for that and it may not work properly.
So, you absolutely can use your carrycot during the day, even for longer naps, as long as you're there, around your baby. You shouldn't use it as a replacement for a baby cot and night sleeping except for those few certified for overnight sleeping - and even those are not a perfect replacement for a baby's bed which, truly, is much more comfortable and safe for a baby to sleep in every night.
