Stokke Scoot V2
.eli
The Stokke Scoot V2 is the second generation of the designer urban stroller with a sturdy chassis and a large shopping basket. The new version of the Scoot offers an even more compact fold. One of the most significant changes of the improved model is the foam-filled wheels providing a smoother ride. The suspension is now on the rear wheels of the front ones. The handlebar underwent a facelift too. Now, it is rotating instead of telescoping, adjusted by rotation instead of pulling.
It is the only model of the Stokke brand with the main seat in the non-bucket-style - and foldable. The original reversible seat is ergonomically shaped and placed higher up on the frame. Reclining the Scoot seat is done by releasing two buckles; the seat then drops back into the additional semi-reclined position or a lie-flat position suitable from birth. The new ventilation openings in the reclined position are providing even more comfort for a child during warm summer days. Although the seat doesn’t feature the leg rest, there is the height-adjustable footrest with one position when parent-facing, two positions when forward-facing.
The updated hood has increased in size; the zip-on pop-out sun visor is also larger. You can change the hood more easily. An interesting feature is the plastic circle-shaped detail on the top to protect the hood when the stroller is standing after folding. Purchasing a car seat or the carrycot available since 2017, you can create any desired set. The Scoot can be customized by changing hoods, various fabric sets, or purchasing additional accessories.

Parent reviews of the Stokke Scoot V2
A good stroller for your child - I was rather happy with it 🙂
I wasn't happy with it at all. Bad wheels - it's no good for ANY kind of terrain. No bumper bar - the child practically hangs in the harness. No leg rest, short canopy...
Excellent, handy stroller comfortable for small babies as well as older children 😊 It is super compact and can be folded in one piece. Perfect for vacations 👍🏼 Large wheels for more difficult terrain plus a robust hood protecting against the sun. It features a large shopping basket and rides well even on snow and sand. Adjustable backrest (three positions). I sincerely recommend it.
- Newborn friendly
- Spacious for sleeping
- Ventilation parts in the sides
- Numerous optional accessories
- Spare parts available
- No-maintenance wheels
- Large shopping basket
- No leg rest
- No bumper bar
A perfect pushchair... A little tank able to pass through any terrain.
- Easy to fold
- Easy to push
- Parent- as well as world-facing seat
- Takes up only a little space
- No belly bar
A perfect pram, super-easy to fold. The seat is reversible. We could go on any terrain with it, and it didn't take up much space in the boot of our car 👌
- Easy folding
- Easy maneuvering
- Reversible seat unit
- Compact
- No bumper bar
A perfect stroller, and so easy to fold. The seat unit can face forward but also face the parent. All-terrain, and not taking up much space in the car 👌
- The wheels were moving too much to the sides
- Difficult manipulation
I wasn't happy with it. It was too heavy, and the quality was not that high. The seat unit was too short and too narrow.
- easy manipulation
- compactness
- a bit larger in the trunk than those lightweight strollers
- heavier
- not the greatest to go up/down the stairs
As a stroller out of a 3in1 stroller system, it is the best because it folds in one piece. It is, however, more difficult to climb a curb or up and down the stairs, but on the other hand, we were able to handle a demanding walk in the forest with it. A disadvantage is the hanging legs of the sleeping child when it's older - since they won't fit inside once it gets taller.
- Compactness
- Driveability
- Large shopping basket
- Fabrics are not that thin, which is great 😊
- Adjustable handle
- Small-in-size, narrow seat unit
Great to push. Able to handle harsher terrain as well 😊
- beautiful design, quality fabrics
- large canopy with ventilation
- much higher seat than the competition offers
- the recline was very nice, no bucket form, but you need to use both hands to recline the seat
- spacious, but I think I have a child that's too tall ;-) so it will last us maybe two, two-and-a-half years
- V2 wheels are much better than the V1
- tall handlebar
- large basket - but too open (my stuff sometimes falls out, so best used with a big bag plus a few nappies
- nice, one-piece fold
- the worst flaw would be the stiff chassis making for a \hard\" ride"
- the all-terrain wheels don't helo much there; every bump, hole, stone makes you lift the stroller (I gave up when walking downtown after maybe 10 minutes, and my husband flipped it over when getting down a curb)
I was so looking forward to having it... and then I took it out to tackle our not-so-perfect sidewalks, and my joy was over. No good way to deal with that... Too heavy for a purely urban stroller; doesn't cope well with any all-terrain ride. If you want a Stokke, buy an Xplory, if you want an all-terrain Stokke terrain, buy a Trailz, or a better brand for that matter.
