Silver Cross Horizon
The Silver Cross Horizon (Go) is a right-from-birth pushchair that, thanks to its lie-flat position of the seat combined with the newborn nest (cocoon-style insert) included, makes for an affordable while luxuriously looking urban choice. Purchasing only a chassis with a seat unit (plus included accessories), the Horizon is more budget-friendly while being comfortable for a newborn even in the pushchair mode (the seat unit is not a bucket-type - L-shaped - seat). In other words, the Horizon is a one-seat solution for those mums not wanting to store a carrycot later on. Another benefit of the stroller is the folding that can be done even with the seat unit attached in both directions - the "clamshell fold".
The Horizon was available in two versions before - the Horizon City (now the Silver Cross Pursuit - a model with smaller rear wheels and a narrower chassis) and the Horizon Go (larger wheels, wider chassis - the same model as the newer Horizon). Both variations were optionally combinable with a full-featured carrycot attachment before; the Silver Cross brand went to the pushchair-only system later on and doesn't offer a bassinet accessory to it anymore.
The larger - polyurethane rubber solid wheels of the Horizon Go are better for tackling some unevennesses - however, the very mild suspension is not the most suitable for any all-terrain use. A rain cover, an apron (leg cover), and the soft insert nest are all included with the Horizon.

Parent reviews of the Silver Cross Horizon
- large basket
- elegant design
- comfortable, roomy seat unit
- reversible
- thin basket fabric can get torn (or it feels like it)
- very large folded size
- stiff ride - not much suspension
The push is OK, but the ride over bumps is quite stiff. I don't feel suspension much. Also, getting up curbs is not the easiest thing to do. I like the design and overall feel of the pushchair, but it seems to me like a city/smooth pavements pushchair, and for that, it is too large.
- gorgeous
- sturdy
- solid wheels
- heavy
- bulky
Gorgeous-looking, and very sturdy. Loving the solid wheels. On the other hand, very very bulky for a small car boot. And it is on the heavy side - not great for regular lifting.
