Silver Cross Coast
The Silver Cross Coast was released at the end of 2018. This luxurious stroller system is very versatile, and like the more expensive 'older brother' Wave, the Coast can also handle one as well as two children from birth. Fewer details and simpler finish is reflected in the Coast's lower price.
The matt black chassis is made from magnesium, making it durable and sturdy. Thanks to the option to slide the main seat unit either lower or higher, the stroller features up to 27 different configurations of the carrycot, seat, and car seat. You can use two seat units or two car seats. It is possible to combine a seat with a car seat or a carrycot, but two carrycots can not be added to the chassis at the same time. The additional Ride-On Board for a third child can be added too.
In the mono stroller configuration, the Coast can be paired with a carrycot suitable for overnight sleeping from birth, and a bucket-type seat unit that can be tilted to a full recline, suitable from six months onwards. The hood and the bumper bar are shared between the seat and the carrycot. When it comes to accessories, the Coast comes, apart from the 2in1 stroller system set, comprises a rain cover, a mosquito net, a padded seat liner, a cup holder, and the set of Simplicity adapters included. The stroller is compatible with either their own Simplicity car seats or car seats with Maxi-Cosi type attachment (this type of adapters is available separately). Adding sibling adapters onto the lower part located in the front of the chassis, the Coast will be transformed into a tandem stroller.

Your questions about the Silver Cross Coast
Hi! What are the wheels sizes (back and front) on the silver cross coast stroller? Thanks
Hi, Salvatore,
The manufacturer doesn't state this information, unfortunately, but I can give you an educated - well, not gues,s but a very close approximation - th rear wheels should be about 29 cm in diameter, and the front about 18-19 cm. Hope that helps. The stroller is definitely not an all-terrain beast, the suspension is a bit stiff for that.
Hi,
What does rubber coated wheels mean? Are they the same as air filled or filled with something else? What kind of maintenance do they require?
Hey there!
A good question, first-time parents often struggle with all the options and wheel types. Here's an article about stroller wheel types that should make it all clear for you.
The basic difference is, there is a layer of rubber on the plastic base/rims of the wheel (often, there is a bit of EVA foam under it to make it a but softer as well as save the manufacturing costs). It is more solid, more durable than the softer foam, but it is not like air-filled or foam-filled tires at all - it is harder, sturdier, with less natural suspension than is present in the inflatable wheels. It is a more durable urban option, mostly, that doesn't require much maintenance except for cleaning and lubricating from time to time.
P.S. To know more about the necessity of cleaning and maintenance of your stroller, read this article, too. It is a very useful guide that will save you a lot of nerves and money, in the end, as your stroller will last longer if having a bit of your attention regularly.
