Quinny Hubb Duo
The Quinny Hubb Duo is a model released at the end of 2018. It is a tandem version of the modern Hubb stroller featuring many practical functions. One of the most distinctive is the massive shopping basket with a side pocket and the weight capacity of up to 20kg! On uneven surfaces, you will appreciate the wheels with foam-filled tires that require no maintenance wheels.
The Quinny Hub Duo version is a practical solution for siblings with a small age gap. Thanks to the optional ultra-lightweight XL HUX carrycot, the Hubb Duo can handle one baby right from birth. The HUX carrycot comes with memory buttons for simpler manipulation. The same hood is used for the seat unit as well as the carrycot. Another option for your newborn is the Maxi-Cosi car seat. Alternatively, you can add a soft Cocoon insert into the bucket seat for a lie-flat position. The Hub Duo is not compatible with two carrycots and therefore not suitable for twins from birth unless at least one of them can sit independently. The carrycot can be combined with a seat unit in a sitting position or, using the same attachment as the seat or the carrycot, with the sibling Hop-On-Board that enables the second child to sit on it too.
Once you will only require one seat, the Hubb Duo can be used as a Mono version. The bucket-type seat can be clicked on either the front, middle or the back of the chassis, depending on your preference and which direction the child is facing. The seat can be reclined fully. You can also individually adjust the leg rest. In addition to the basic Xtra Shopping Bag of the shopping basket, the XXL Shopping Basket is included with the Duo version. Many other accessories are available optionally as well.

Parent reviews of the Quinny Hubb Duo
A large pram, though well worth that weight, being really spacious in all aspects.
- Space space space!!!
- Large wheels
- Many configurations and large toddler-friendly
- Parent AND world facing seats - BOTH
- Basket
- Weight
- Folded size
- Telescoping handle
- Turning
This is the perfect pushchair to hold a lot of stuff, shopping, two kids... everything. The "price to pay" for that is that the maneuvering is not the easiest, and to load it in the car can be a pain in the a.. :-D I mean, it is not light nor compact. The style and the functions are all awesome, at least on paper when you're not loading it.
And I would maybe say that the adjustable handle... such a nice idea, it telescopes out... but it has some will which I minded. And it doesn't go that far up...
I struggled so much when folding and loading it, I ended up selling it and getting a lighter side-by-side, non-reversible pushchair. I loved the features but they made it too large and hard to be handled by a petite mum.
Your questions about the Quinny Hubb Duo
Hello,
I'm wondering if it's possible to fit 2 Maxi-Cosi car seats on the Quinny Hubb Duo?
Thanks.
Best regards.
Stany
Hey, Stany,
In theory, I also thought that with two (the right) Quinny Hubb - Maxi-Cosi adaptors, it should be possible. However, the manufacturer only recommends one car seat and one seat unit, possibly because the front seat's attachment system is slanted quite a lot, and thus, officially (and safely), you won't be able to put on two car seats, unfortunately.
While using the bench seat, can the carrycot be parent-facing? While using the bench seat, can the buggy seat be parent facing? While sitting on the bench seat, can this child sit facing away from the parent looking towards the smaller child in the carrycot, buggy seat, or car seat?
Thank you
Heya, K,
When there is a bench seat, you should be able to have the carrycot parent facing (in the front slot, however).
The child on the bench seat could, in theory, sit facing forward, however it is not optimal - there is nothing for him or her to hold on to. When the child sits on the bench, it should be holding on the sides of the handlebar, thus should face the parent. If he or she is mature enough to hold on the sides well enough, he or she could face the baby in the front, however this could be a potential safety risk, and is up to you to decide.
Is the Joie I snug 2 compatible with the Hubb?
Hi there,
With the Maxi-Cosi/Cybex car seat adpaters, yes, you can attach also the Joie iSnug car seat to the Hubb. You have to have the adapters, though.
Is it only compatible with maxi cosi car seat?
Hi, Audrey,
No, with those Maxi-Cosi car seats, you can also attach Cybex, Joie, Nuna, Recaro and Kiddy car seats s the attachment systems are the same. I would definitely go fo lighter, smaller car seats though as something huge like the Cybex Cloud might be a tight fit (though it could fit, just saying).
Where can I purchase the car seat adapters? We bought a second hand stroller and the person we bought off says it didn't come with them, but everywhere online says they're included. Really hoping I can buy them separately! Not easy to find.
Hi, Marena,
The stroller's configuration depends on where the set was bought and how it was put together. They might and might have not been included. The model is not widely available and not many keep spare parts and accessories for it, so my best suggestion here is to browse eBay/classifieds and search for those - OR contact Quinny's customer service and ask about availability around you.
Can you have a car seat parent-facing and the bench board together?
Hi, Beth,
You CAN. The bench seat, however, has to be closer to you - on the rear position (even if not with a car seat, I mean just like we use it in this in-depth Quinny Hubb stroller review. The car seat will be higher as it will need adapters.
Be aware, however, that the child sitting on the bench will have a limited space (depending on the size of the car seat).
Do you stock parts of a single push chair or do you stock the duo with all the parts?
Hello, Dawn!
This stroller only can be folded with ONE seat attached. It cannot be folded with both seat, a single bassinet, or with two carrycots. From my experience, the best and most space-saving is actually to store first the seat or seats and THEN the folded frame separately. But this, of course, depends on you and your needs.
