Quinny Hubb
The Quinny Hubb is a model released at the end of 2018. It is a modern stroller or a stroller system featuring many practical functions. One of the most distinctive is the massive shopping basket with a side pocket and the weight capacity of up to 20kg! On uneven surfaces, you will appreciate the wheels with foam-filled tires that require no maintenance wheels.
The Quinny Hub Mono version is a practical solution for a baby from birth. There is an optional ultra-lightweight XL HUX carrycot featuring memory buttons for simpler manipulation. The same hood is used for the seat unit as well as the carrycot. Another option for your newborn is the Maxi-Cosi type of car seat. Alternatively, you can add a soft Cocoon insert into the bucket seat for a lie-flat, newborn-friendly position.
You can attach the bucket-type seat can be clicked on either the front, middle or the back of the chassis, depending on your preference and which direction the child is facing. The seat can be reclined fully. You can also individually adjust the leg rest. The Hubb is very variable and can be used even for siblings with a small age gap. There is the original sibling Hop-On-Board available. Alternatively, by adding another seat, carrycot or a car seat, you can transform your Hubb into the Duo. In addition to the basic Xtra Shopping Bag, the XXL Shopping Basket is included with the Duo version. Many other accessories are available optionally as well.

Parent reviews of the Quinny Hubb
Despite the shortcomings, which are absolutely logical considering the type of a stroller it is, I loved the comfortably seated kids in those large seats, lots of space for everything I needed. (and even for what I didn't need), and the way we shined thanks to the colors - especially in this grey world. I only cursed it the moment I loaded it into the boot of the car - it's a 'large chunk of a pram', this one! It can be a pain sometimes, but so much other 'pains' (a whining sibling who doesn't want to walk anymore, or possibly another, third sibling), fall away...
- space (in the seat, basket)...
- fabrics
- colours
- large wheels, no punctures
- bench option
- sturdiness (will survive a plane trip ✔️, you give it away near the gate)
- narrow enough
- large after folding
- on the heavy side
We had it with two seats but went for one seat and the hop-on-board (bench) seat as time went. This is a super practical solution even to sometimes use with our 9yo! And nobody will tell you it's weird to fit a large kid into a "traditional" seat when it's sitting on a "bench" when too tired.
The basket is a chapter of its own - so large, good not only for many things you need but also for a large shopping load, picnic trips, anything you think of... So so so large.
I liked the textiles - the colours, as well as their cleaning, were simply great. Lovely design overall, nobody on the street could resist admiring our pram.
And yes, it's a large pram, but when you pick one to hold two kids plus shopping and with large wheels to get over bumps and holes, and with so many options... it's just worth it. Don't expect it to turn super quickly when fully loaded, of course 😉
- large wheels
- roomy, comfy seat
- colors
- basket is incredibly O_O huuuge
- solid feel
- XXL hood
- very bulky
- heavy-ish
A very good pushchair - practical, comfortable for the baby, and even if feels very robust and sturdy, it is still narrow enough. Those wheels are huge, but maintenance-free wheels and the hood is brutal - absolutely big. Our son loves the colorfulness and likes to sit inside.
Your questions about the Quinny Hubb
Hii,
I have got a Quinny Hubb and I love it. Recently we are planning to air travel (Turkish airlines) and I don’t know if I will be allowed to take my pram with me.
Hey, Ella,
You should be able to take a stroller with you, especially if you have a small child. However, this is a large model and as such, it will have to be checked in - according to their blog, "strollers are transported as checked baggage in the cargo hold".
They also say there: "Still, your stroller can be brought as far as the aircraft entrance, where it can be handed over to a staff member. Just don’t forget to inform the crew at the check-in desk, and have the stroller booked to your ticket."
Hi,
If you use it for two children what is the max total weight it can carry? I have a two-year-old that's 30 lbs and a 4 month old 15 lbs thanks
Hey, Chantal,
The stroller is, officially, for up to 15 kg (33 lbs) in each seat (together, 30 kg, 66 lbs) plus 20 kg (44 lbs) in the basket. In total, you should be ok with up to 50 kg (110 lbs) load overall, so a bit over 15 kg in one seat, if the child fits inside, should be ok.
Hello lovelies,
I think I am going to get the Quinny Hubb xxl solo but I don't drive and rely on busses where I am. So I need to know, Does this buggy fit on little Arriva buses?
Many thanks
Alice
Hi, Alice,
Uh-oh, here, I am not sure I'll make you happy. This is one heavy-ish, larger pram, meaning it will not be your friend in this situation. I mean, each normally sized stroller (this in single mode is also normally sized) will fit there somehow, but to manipulate, lift it up or down, etc. will not be easy. If all of your buses have those platforms helping you up, you should be ok - but if you plan on - alone - lifting it up and down with your child, I would rather get something lighter, narrower.
