Peg-Pérego Booklet 50 S

see 2 parent reviews

The Peg-Pérego Booklet 50 S is a higher version of the Booklet. Compared to the Booklet, the chassis of the Booklet 50 S is only 50 cm wide and thus great for handling the narrowest town streets. The lightweight aluminum chassis also features a shaped leatherette handlebar as well as the rear Soft Ride wheels with tire tread, that make the stroller suitable for occasional all-terrain use. Thanks to the suspension and 12 ball bearings, the steering is by 30% easier compared to similar strollers. The stroller can be folded one-handedly the way a book does, hence the name. Another advantage of this stroller is the large shopping basket with easy load system, meaning that the rear part can be folded down.

The non-reversible seat can be reclined flat, including the leg rest. Thanks to the integrated attachment points of the G-Matic system, the Booklet 50 S can also accommodate the Peg-Pérego Porte-Enfant Booklet carrycot with extra side pockets as well as the Primo Viaggio car seat (sold separately). The stroller comes with a bumper bar that can be swapped for an optional snack tray. The Booklet 50 S is usually available in Completo version with apron and rain cover included.

parents say thx^^
  • Usable from birth
  • Extended canopy
  • Great fabric design
  • UPF 50+, i.e. no more fading
  • Better drawstring backrest positioning system than on other strollers I've had
  • Foot positioning has a clever fabric design at the end - washable
  • Lying area padded
  • Cushioning on the straps and between the legs
  • Insulated apron and rain cover included
  • Maintenance-free wheels with inflatable-like features
  • Stroller controls ultra easy, even with one hand
  • 5kg capacity basket
  • One-hand folding (inwards, like a book) with automatic safety lock
  • With the option of adding a bassinet and carrying a car seat on the stroller frame (travel system)
  • Leather handle for parent
  • Leather bar for baby
  • Wheel lock
  • Narrow design i.e. easy to get everywhere without rubbing the frame
  • Weight up to 9kg
  • I cannot rotate the seat
  • Compared to the Book series, it has wheel locking with levers above the wheels (i.e. not a knob on the frame) like most strollers and it rattles a bit on rougher terrain

I finally found what I was looking for. Great pushchair, really foldable with 1 hand, lightweight.

  • Spacious even with a footmuff
  • Long seat surface
  • Deep seat
  • Very easy to fold - with one hand
  • Easy to handle
  • Long harness
  • Large hood even when lying down
  • Small when folded
  • Suitable for small car and small lift
  • Ventilation
  • Goes over snow
  • Handles slightly broken roads
  • Rear wheels are sprung
  • Easily removable bumper bar
  • It is lightweight
  • Front wheels are a little rattly
  • Positioning of the backrest with a strap

Great stroller. The only thing I would change about it are the front wheels - they rattle a bit on uneven pavement.

Your questions about the Peg-Pérego Booklet 50 S

1)

How do you attach the compatible snack tray when the ends on it are closed but need to slide onto stroller?

Hey,

You might have a wrong tray (meant for a different model) if the attachment system doesn't fit (be sure to check the manual you got to it and compare your model and design with what they say it is for). Also, check with the seller, they may have sent you a different one..?
