Peg-Pérego Book Plus Pop Up
The Peg-Pérego Book Plus Pop Up is a modular stroller system consisting of the Pop Up seat and the carrycot in combination with the Book Plus chassis. The name Pop Up is derived from the name of the carrycot and it is also corresponding with the style of the fabrics on both the carrycot and the seat. The Navetta Pop Up is an elegant carrycot that can be folded for easier transport or storage. It is one of the few carrycots in the world that can be folded together with the chassis of the stroller. The Book Plus is also available as a part of the stroller system Elite with the elegant carrycot/car seat hybrid Navetta Elite and the XL with the popular carrycot/car seat hybrid Navetta XL.
The lightweight aluminum chassis is equipped with a suspension system as well as a shaped handlebar. Thanks to the wheels with suspension and 12 ball bearings, the steering is by 30% easier compared to similar strollers. The stroller can be folded one-handedly the way a book does, hence the name. Another advantage of this stroller is the large shopping basket with easy load system, meaning that the rear part can be folded down.
The Peg-Pérego Book Plus Pop Up features luxurious, detailed fabrics with stitching. The Pop Up seat can be reclined flat, including the leg rest. The hood features a strap for attaching a favorite toy. It is quite short in its basic form, but it can be extended by opening another panel, and can also be used as a follow-the-sun shield. The Peg-Pérego Book Plus Pop Up set is only available as the 3in1 stroller system; however, the individual components of the stroller system are also sold separately.

Parent reviews of the Peg-Pérego Book Plus Pop Up
It was our first stroller. It was stylish, easy to store, and the carrycot folded down (into the smallest size that could fit anywhere). The big advantage is that it didn't need any adapters for either the car seat or the seat unit. The disadvantages for me were the short and high canopy on the seat, and the price.
- Compact
- Lightweight
- Good handling
- Large shopping basket
- Low handlebar, for taller persons it is necessary to buy an extension
I bought the stroller for my second baby, but I am already driving the older one in the seat part and I am pleasantly surprised by the driving characteristics. It is easy to handle, has a gentle suspension, doesn't seem to rattle and has excellent access to the basket. The only downside is the low handle design - one trips over the brake a lot, so the first thing I bought was a handle extension. Now the stroller is wonderful.
- A compact pram that will serve you well
- Nice price
- I found no cons
We had a version where the bassinet could be folded together with the frame, because when we bought the pram we still had a car with a small trunk.
I can't fault it, it was very foldable, the apron on the bassinet could be put on high, no wind blowing on my daughter. The bassinet could be folded, it could be positioned. I bought a handle extension so that I would not trip, as we still had a buggy board attached to the stroller.
The car seat was also great, maybe if they could have put in a little longer straps.
