Mountain Buggy Nano

DISCONTINUED in 2015
see 6 parent reviews

The Mountain Buggy Nano is an ultra lightweight, ultra-compact stroller. The Nano folds down in two easy steps to the size of a larger bag. In 2015, the Nano won many awards, including a Reddot. The seat can be reclined only partially, therefore suitable for children already able to sit independently. Adding a car seat using straps and rubber bands hidden underneath the seat, you can use the Nano from birth.

The Nano is a slim stroller, easily maneuverable through narrow spaces, but still comfortable enough even for a bigger child. The minimalistic dimensions and rather open seating destine the Nano mainly for travels. However, thanks to the many optional accessories, the Nano could also be used as a main stroller for active parents or more demanding parents with less storage space. Accessories you can purchase separately include: a bumper bar, a winter seat liner, a footmuff, skis suitable for sand or snow and a Freerider scooter that can be added to the chassis as a sibling board.

Truly a perfect buggy for the plane, and also for a larger toddler. At least in our case, we used it when my daughter was 3 to 4 years old. It was an incredible help during our travels. A sturdy stroller with a good push, while being superbly compact and lightweight. It met every single requirement I had - and it was our sixth one, so I knew what I was looking for.

We absolutely love our Nano, and took it on the plane with us on all our trips. I found it sturdy and easy to maneuver. Kids were also able to sleep in it comfortably enough.

Small while being big

  • When folded, it's super small and ideal for train, plane, bus...
  • The shopping basket is sufficient
  • Great canopy

Small while being 'big' - it can easily fit a 5-year-old (useful when traveling). Easy to manipulate even on uneven terrain, and also compact.

  • Lightweight
  • Small when folded
  • None

Very light and compact stroller - great for a small car and plane rides!

  • Lightweight
  • Small when folded
  • I found none

A very lightweight, compact buggy - outstanding for a small car boot or for traveling by plane!

  • compact
  • lightweight
  • I had an older model, and there was not enough shade for the little one
  • in the back part, behind the child's head, was only mesh which I didn't like when it was colder outside
  • there was no bumper bar, but this I did not mind that much in the end, because the harness works well

Perfect for travels or to pack in your small car. It really takes up just a tiny bit of space.
