Your questions about the Mothercare Xtreme
Hello,
Can you run with the mothercare xtreme?
Hey, Amy,
The instruction manual of the Xtreme says "WARNING! This product is not suitable for running or skating." So officially, it is a not. I cannot tell you it's ok.
A light jog with this type should, I think, be ok, but nothing demanding nor much turning there for sure.
Where can I buy one from?
Hi, Amy,
It is most probably sold out/discontinued if you cannot find it online nor in outlets. The only place to get it then would be in classifieds - I mean, it is an ecological and economical way of getting a stroller, so why not.
Just in case, I would also consider a Chicco Trio Activ3 or an Out'n'about Nipper Single as an alternative.
Please how do I fold the Extreme stroller?
Hi, Mandy,
you only need to consult the manual - it is not a hard thing to do, folding the Mothercare Xtreme pushchair. It is a one-hand process, even.
I am attaching pictures from the Mothercare Xtreme instruction manual, showing you how to activate the folding button on the handle. To unlock it, slide the security latch left, then push the button with your palm. Then, the frame gets loose in the central joint, just needing you tu push the handle down to fold your stroller.
Please, can you let me know where to buy a replacement bumper bar for the Mothercare Xtreme pushchair?
Hi, Rodney,
I would love to tell you but spare parts are not just available to buy in a shop or so. These are usually only ordered based on a need, and this does the distributor/the retail (shop) you ought it at originally, usually.
Do contact the retailer you bought it at, firstly, asking for the part you need even if it would take a fee to get it. As a discontinued Mothercare model, however, it might prove undoable for the retailer.
Next, I'd contact Mothercare/Boots customer service and ask for help... They, however, say this on their webpage: "We don't have a list of specific spare parts available. However, your local store will be able to advise if the item you need is available and they can order it for you."
