Mamas&Papas Urbo
The Mamas&Papas Urbo is a more luxurious brother of the Sola. It was released in 2010. As its name (Urbo) suggests, it is designed for the city. The sturdy chassis is light, despite being more robust. A high-end look is underlined by the leather details on the handle and the bumper bar. Wheels with unique rims are in the same width in the front as well as in the back - they are not closer in the front, which is usual for most strollers. The excellent center of gravity makes it easy to handle and lift over the curbs, you can do it with even one-handedly.
The seat is located lower on the chassis. It can be reversed and reclined flat. The well-padded cover fabrics provide the child with comfort and can also be washed. An optional carrycot and/or a car seat are available to create a stroller system. You can also buy it in a complete set. The Urbo was also released in the Elite version with a black chassis (Black and Mulberry).
The Sola, Zoom, and Urbo series models have the same type of the seat and the same attachment system. You can therefore exchange all the parts, adapters, as well as additional accessories (bumper bars, hoods, textiles).

Parent reviews of the Mamas&Papas Urbo
Very good as a pushchair, or as a buggy substitute. Superb around town, easy to handle and super compact. Otherwise hard, with small wheels - so you will feel uneven terrain.
- Super compact even in a small car trunk
- Seat reclinable to full recline
- Nice design
- Less suspension
- Small bassinet
- Difficult to walk with it in the snow
I really liked the design of the stroller - we had a Fox pram which was gorgeous. However, the bassinet is tiny here, it's more for a winter newborn, as I definitely won't put a bigger baby with a footmuff in there. On the other hand, even with the bassinet we crammed it into a small car trunk, so that's a plus. For normal running around the city ok, but for off-road or snow not at all.
- reversible seat
- comfortable, precise seat padding
- possibility to recline the seat fully
- canopy long enough (foldable)
- easy and firm backrest positioning
- sufficiently high backrest
- sturdy frame
- telescopic handle
- passes over different types of terrain
- the ability to climb stairs without much effort - by lowering it down correctly
- indestructible wheels
- does not rattle
- sturdy handle - does not scuff
- the shopping basket tends to scrape on the ground with heavier load
I recommend this stroller. I think it will make every mom's dreams come true. A combination of beauty and practicality.
