iCandy Raspberry New (2018)

In 2018, the lightweight and compact Raspberry underwent a huge design facelift. The New Raspberry, as it is also known as, was released in new colors and with a premium leatherette handlebar. The iconic shape of the extendable hood with a sun visor was changed. Like with the older version of the Raspberry, the hoods and other accessories are available separately. There is plenty of colors to choose from, so you can swap them around. The chassis with a wider front axle is available in black Moonrock or silver Chrome colorway. Compared to other similar strollers, the shopping basket is actually huge. In the front, there is an additional storage pod, which is solid, closable, and provides you with space to keep the rain cover and other small items. The new, thicker wheels feature a soft suspension system for an even smoother and noiseless ride through the town.

The padded seat provides even more comfort, thanks to the dense fabric with a comb structure that can also be found in the Orange model. The super spacious seat is rather deep, which, with the long backrest, longer seat belts, and high weight capacity, makes it able to handle even an older child. The seat can be reclined flat; therefore, the Raspberry is suitable right from birth. The improved Duo Pod is necessary if you want to maximize the comfort of your newborn baby. The reversible Duo Pod boasts a fleece lining on one side, ideal for winter, and cooling fabrics suitable for summer on the other side. One of the most expected improvements, however, are the elevators. The New Peach came with a unique option across its category. The elevating adapters heighten the seat that normally sits quite low - so in the higher position, you’ll bond with your baby, or you may use the New Raspberry as a highchair when eating out. The chassis of the New Raspberry is compatible with a car seat or the new, full-sized, full-featured carrycot.
