Emmaljunga Kite 250
.eli
The Emmaljunga KITE 250 is a unique ultra-compact stroller that, unusually for the type, combines larger, outdoor-feeling, rugged wheels and a truly spacious seat with an ultra-compact folding certified by IATA (when in the smaller-wheeled configuration) - meaning you should be OK with taking it on board with most airlines.
The Kite focuses not only on the unique design with many colorful options of fabrics to choose from. The frame is made from HYDRO REDUXA® Aluminum and leaves only a 25% carbon footprint on the planet compared with normal aluminum. The Solight Ecco® tires are also eco-conscious, and they are larger and more capable of tackling bumps on roads other than just airports and shopping malls.
The seatback is a whopping 68 cm long in the seated position (about 62 cm in the reclined position), but it only reclines halfway. The stroller is, therefore, suitable for children that can sit by themselves already. The seat also boasts a maximum weight capacity of 22 kg, so a use of up to about 4 years of the child’s age.
You can also get the Kite with smaller - 15 cm wheels, which is when the buggy meets the dimensions for IATA hand luggage.

I am half yes, half no here, and decided to return the pushchair in the end. I loved the padding, and the ecological aspect of the stroller, The seat is large and padded, and the larger wheels are a big plus. I, however, felt the seat is not really upright and missed the leg rest a bit. Also, the reclining is not super smooth and only has 2 positions, and the reclining is very very fiddly as there are zippers on the INSIDE of the seat, so you only do it when the child is NOT IN. Not practical in my opinion. I also would love a bit softer ride, suspension wise.
Still, a super small, super light buggy that actually can be used for everyday use - however more so with a larger toddler that doesn't nap in the stroller much. Great for holidays, too. The price is a bit high, though, so it's not for everybody.
I love the possibility of two wheel sizes and the larger wheels for a more normal everyday use. I, however, would love a bit more suspension, as the ride is a bit hard. I am also missing a bumper bar and an easier positioning quite a lot.
