Chicco Liteway
The Chicco Liteway is an umbrella stroller featuring smaller-in-size, single front wheels for an agile ride through the city. The backrest of the seat unit offers five positions, including a flat recline that is suitable practically from birth. The safety belts can be adapted accordingly. It is also possible to adjust the leg rest.
Generally, the Liteway is available as the Liteway Top set, which comes with a rain cover, a footmuff, a cup holder, a bumper bar, and an apron convertible into a seat liner. The Liteway was released in several limited editions, such as the Denim inspired by the iconic jeans; the grey Fluo featuring details in contrasting colors; the patterned Puzzle or the Glam with leatherette handles, matching upholstery, and a small bag included.

Parent reviews of the Chicco Liteway
Perfectly compact, nicely maneuverable, spacious.
We bought it for holidays and to keep a stroller handy in the trunk of the car - for shopping, for example, or when the little one was on strike. It was very portable, lightweight, the little one could even nap in it.
- Light
- Compact
- Quality
- Not for terrain
Great stroller for trips - to keep in your car boot, but more or less for easy terrain. Also suitable from birth, at least in summer for sure. Ours slept in it for their whole childhood. Bought second hand it still lasted another 4 kids.
- Lightweight
- Small
- Compact
- They're not great to drive on a worse surface
- Bad brake design
A lightweight buggy. Not for long journeys. Ideal for train travel or as a replacement stroller in the car for shopping 😉
- Wheel locking
- Front wheels not doubled
- Removable wheels
- Washable covers
- Large basket
- Positionable
- Have you tried it in the old town, on cobblestones? 😂
Lightweight, compact, easy to handle. Reclining, easy to maintain, washable covers, removable and lockable front wheels.
I like its weight - its light. The fact that it only has single wheels in the front makes it so much better to push than an umbrella stroller with double wheels. Its quiet - no rattling. I am satisfied.
I can't say I like buggies with two handles, as I always have to use both of my hands. If I tried to use this one with only one hand, the buggy would go in a different direction than I intended. Otherwise, it takes up little space and is easy to manipulate. However, it doesn't fit in a small car as it is very long after folding.
It is enough for me.
A lightweight and practical pushchair. Im very satisfied with it.
Your questions about the Chicco Liteway
Can this be used for taller parents (5’8 and 5’11)? My current umbrella stroller makes us bend so far over to push it.
Hey, Marebear,
With the handlebars at 113 cm from the ground (about 3′8), this should fit you alright. I mean, you wil have to compare tzo your own buggy, and also, each design is a bit different, space for feet-wise (so trying out is the best, if possible), however the handles are on the taller side, and should be better than average, other buggies-wise.
I have a carrycot and carseat from Chicco, does the stroller Liteway can fit with my Chiccco carrycot?
Hi, Tara,
The Liteway is not meant to accept no bassinet nor a car seat - it is a simple umbrella buggy for toddlers, not really a stroller system (travel system), unfortunately.
