Chicco Bravo Primo
The Chicco Bravo Primo is a more luxurious variation of the affordable and practical Chicco Bravo stroller. Like the Bravo, the Bravo Primo is also compatible with a car seat - specifically, the Chicco FIT2 LE (or the Keyfit) that is usually included in the Bravo Primo set, allowing you to create a travel system suitable right from birth. Compared to the original model, the Bravo Primo features premium details such as structured fabrics, breathable reversible seat liner, and an improved hood with an added zip-open mesh panel.
The softly padded, front-facing seat can be reclined quite deeply, but not to a full lie-flat - therefore, for the youngest children, you will probably need to use a car seat. Another advantage of this stroller is the spacious shopping basket and the quick and simple fold done only by lifting the handle integrated into the seat unit. Once folded, the stroller is able to stand by itself.

Your questions about the Chicco Bravo Primo
What is the main difference between just the simple Bravo car seat and stroller combo or the Bravo Primo? Looks like a $200 difference in price.
Hey, Christy,
Not sure if you're comparing the Bravo vs. the Bravo Primo travel system, or the cars eats, or the strollers, or... what are we comparing. The prices are very different from seller to seller. In any case, the difference between the Bravo Primo vs. Bravo are pretty much premium details – such as structured fabrics, breathable reversible seat liner, and an improved hood with an added zip-open mesh panel. The Bravo Primo is simply a more elaborate, sleeker model - the car seat is, safety-wise, the same.
Which do more prefer to go to, the Bravo LE or the Bravo Primo?
Hey, Dtra,
I think people go more for the Bravo Primo as it is, I believe, a little more available, and also, the price is a tad more favorable. Features-wise these are two very similar strollers, with the Bravo LE having a bit better hood (larger, more coverage) and a tad sleeker design (thus the, usually, a bit higher price). I think you can just decide based on the price or just a design preference as user experience-wise it won't be a very big difference.
Is it good on all terrains? Can you jog with it?
Hi, Jo,
The Bravo Primo is definitely not for jogging - jogging strollers are pretty much all three-wheelers with much longer base for handling as well as stability. Also, this is definitely not an all-terrain stroller – it has ver little suspension and plastic-foam wheels. With that large basket and harder frae its best use is on smooth urban surfaces and in shops.
Does it have a base?
Hey, Marge,
If you're talking about the car seat the Chicco Bravo Primo is usually sold with - the Chicco Keyfit 35; yes, there is a compatible Isofix base for the car seat. You can even (often) purchase it with the pushchair + capsule duo in a "Trio Travel System". Simply find a retailer in your area and ask about the availability of a compatible base.
