CBX Leotie Flex
The CBX Leotie Flex is a stroller system with a 2in1 bucket-type seat that can be transformed into a carrycot. This affordable stroller system features a modern, minimalistic design. It is a practical and space-saving option for baby’s first months. The seat is relatively small - you may need to replace the Leotie Flex with a more spacious stroller after a year or two. It can be attached to the chassis in both directions and reclined into three positions, from upright to completely reclined. Apart from the carrycot, there is an option of a car seat for your newborn. The CBX Shima car seat is compatible with Bimisi and Leotie strollers without any need of adapters. However, to pair the Leotie Flex with a Cybex/Maxi-Cosi or other well-known car seat brand, you will need adapters.
Three versions of the Leotie were released: the Leotie Flex Lux features premium, leatherette elements; the Leotie Pure features an identical chassis, but comes with a larger seat unit and a separate carrycot; and the premium Leotie Lux combines the leatherette details and the feature of the separate seat and carrycot.

Parent reviews of the CBX Leotie Flex
- Good suspension
- Easy and smooth to drive in different terrains
- Different handle positions (for the smallest to the tallest driver)
- Easy to unfold
- Haven’t found a way to release the car seat without taking off the adapters
- Big and bulky when folded - difficult to carry it once folded
- No way to fold the canopy
Great for the price and good for rocky roads. It includes the adapters for Maxi Cosi car seat.
Easy to drive and easy to unfold it but it's not easy to carry it once folded.
Your questions about the CBX Leotie Flex
Just picked up a CBX Leotie Lux second hand, it's in really good condition but would like to give it a clean before I put my baby in it. How do you remove the covers to the seat and the straps? Can't seem to find anything on YouTube for this model or info in the manual :)
Hiya, D,
The Leotie Lux, I believe, was not made so that you should be removing all textile parts, and definitely not for the washing machine. As a cheaper model, it ould damage the fabrics quite some. Check this article of ours on cleaning and maintenance of your stroller to get some inspiration as to how to clean your stroller even without removing the covers.
How to detach the Maxi Cosi Pebble Plus from the Leotie Flex? We had no problems detaching the car seat from our old stroller (we pushed the two buttons in the Maxi Cosy car seat and voila). Here even if we push them, the button does not seem to work. I need to detach the adaptors and once detached from the stroller I can click on the buttons from the Maxi Cosi car seat which are supposed to detach the car seat from the adapters.
Hope you can help.
Hello, there,
Normally, it 100% should work. If it doesn't, the only reason I can think of is that the stroller wasn't meant to be left and folded with the adapters still attached, so they designed it so that it has a secondary lock that makes the parent only take off the car seat with adapters. I wouldn't push it if I were you; it feels that for such a budget-friendly pram, this is just one step more to do when traveling. I am sorry it bothers you, but if it did go on another stroller and not on this one, it cannot be forced; it's a frame feature.
The CBX Leotie Flex has adaptors to a Maxi Cosi car seat. How to release the car seat without having to detach the adaptors?
So far the only way to release the car seat from the pushchair is by clicking off the adapters together with the car seat.
Thanks in advance
Hello!
The detaching ONLY the car seat is always done on the car seat itself. You don't specify which Maxi-Cosi brand car seat you have, but mostly, the detaching of those is done on the side of the seat itself. We had a Pebble and the removing the car seat from the frame (it is not even important which stroller model's chassis we're talking about, because it is, again, the car seat's mechanism), I had to push two side buttons while pulling the car seat upward.
I am attaching a video of a Maxi-Cosi car seat removal (from a Baby Jogger City Select, but the car seat adapter end is the same - to illustrate. So you only have to consult the car seat manual or an explainer video for the car seat (not the Leotie Flex pram).
Good luck!
