Foppapedretti strollers

4 parent reviews

Italian brand Foppapedretti was founded in 1946 by a wood enthusiast Ezio Foppa Pedretti, together with his siblings Tito and Letizia. Working in his uncle Pierino's umbrella handle factory, Ezio used leftovers to create wooden toys in his spare time. Wooden toys were the first focus of the new company Fabrica di giocattoli dei fratelli Foppa Pedretti. After plastics became more popular, the Foppapedretti portfolio had to expand and diversify. In the 1950s, the company started producing their first products for babies - high chairs, cot beds, and school desks. In the 1970s, Foppapedretti added garden furniture, home accessories and decorations, one of the most popular of which is the Asso ironing board. All wooden Foppapedretti products are boasting the prestigious Made in Italy mark.

Wood still remains the most dominant element of Foppapedretti production. To satisfy the market, to make people’s life easy and to enhance technology development, the company introduced the Technology line using metals and advanced methodology. This line includes car seats, strollers, and other related childcare products. One of the Technology products is the innovative stroller Myo Tronic. The Myo Tronic was launched in 2011 as the only available stroller with an electric engine and immediately won the prestigious Reddot Design Award. Foppapedretti also offers other stylish and original strollers. The iWood is one of the first modular stroller systems with a wooden chassis. Out of Foppapedretti strollers, the surprisingly ultra-lightweight Piùleggero weights 3.6 kg only.
