Parent reviews of the Bexa Roxy
I was very happy with the pram.
It's light, it folds well. Excellent ride, easy handling, handles the terrain well. The disadvantage of the lightness is that it can be easily overturned (when an older child hangs on the handle).
It handles well, the big wheels and the sporty feeling frame can go through everything :-) My only regret is that there is no window so that the baby on its tummy can see outside. Otherwise it fits great, the design is also great. We haven't gotten to the seat yet.
The disadvantage of the car seat is its hood - I don't like that it doesn't fold down at the same time as the handle, but it always has to be detached, but the removal is easy and quick.
- The inner part of the carry cot can be taken off and washed
- Carry cot is deep
I was very satisfied. Price/quality ratio is awesome :-)
The stroller is great. I was satisfied especially on terrain. We used both the bassinet and the seat part. The only downside is that when folding it into the car, the frame and the seat have to be folded and stored separately.
- Huge wheels
- Easy pushing also with one hand
- Old model
- No accessories
- No adapters for other brands
- Two hands are needed to fold (at least)
- For me, it is a little bit heavy
We have received this Bexa as a gift, therefore I am super thankful to have that (never heard the brand before). It is much better than I thought at first. Reliable, sturdy, huge wheels, easy to drive also in the forest. Huge basket.
Cons:
Old model. No accessories. No adapters for other brands. Two hands are needed to fold (at least). For me, it is a little bit heavy.
- price
- steering
- storage basket room
- accessories are more of a "must", not really elaborate
- the folded package is very bulky
- risk of punctures
We bought it for a really low price, and the nice enough weight (compared to similar, 2-3 kg heavier prams). I also appreciated the large storage basket.
Your questions about the Bexa Roxy
Hallo, ich habe diesen Kinderwagen mit Chromgestell, doch leider funktioniert die Bremse nicht mehr.
Muss ich diesen jetzt wegschmeißen oder kann man dieses noch richten?
Ganz liebe Grüße

(English translation:
Hello, I have this stroller with a chrome frame, but unfortunately, the brakes no longer work.
Do I have to throw it away or can I still fix it?
Best wishes
Gisela from Augsburg)
Hello,
The brake is a rather regular part that brakes on cheaper prams as well as some more expensive strollers (on the affordable ones a bit more). It is a part that can be repaired if having the right spare parts know-how, but it is not a process that can be advised on with plain answering a question.
Your best bet would be either contacting the seller or the manufacturer - Bexa directly, asking for advice as well as a proper spare part. They do not offer the Roxy anymore, so I wouldn't hope too much, but maybe... Another way would be to try and find a stroller repairing workshop around you. If none works, I'd simply sell the stroller system for parts or gave it away to some hospital to carry babes around without the need for brakes - flat surfaces...
I mean, in general, and for people skilled with the technical part, a malfunctioning brake is not that much of a problem, but for a normal person, it is a very hard part to repair by themselves without the proper replacement part or the knowledge. And the cheaper brands rarely offer necessary spare parts since they're not meant to last as much...
