The Babyzen Yoyo+ is a renewed, 2016 version of the Yoyo. The new Plus version enables you to create a travel system by adding a car seat using adapters. The car seat can be added either onto the bare chassis, onto the chassis with the seat attached or onto the chassis with only the backrest. Whether it is a Plus version or not you can easily distinguish by checking the side of the chassis for a presence of small openings for adapters.
Thanks to the width of 43 cm only, quality wheels and an improved suspension, the extraordinarily compact chassis is easily maneuverable too. Although Yoyo’s wheels don’t feature a locking option, according to the manufacturer, there is no need for it. Despite small wheels, the stroller can handle even slightly uneven terrain. The Yoyo is, therefore, an excellent secondary stroller for travels. Combined with the newborn pack, it can handle even the role of a primary, urban stroller suitable from birth. Thanks to the new shopping basket with a 60% bigger capacity, the Yoyo+ is an excellent companion when shopping. The padded shoulder strap allows you to carry the folded stroller over your shoulder, while the travel bag will protect the stroller while traveling.
The Yoyo+ seat comes with a larger leg rest and can now handle up to 18 kg. The improved hood is available in new fabric materials and features an added rear pocket. The seat unit is forward-facing and can be reclined, but doesn’t have a lie-flat option. Therefore, the Yoyo+ in a conventional set up is suitable from 6 months upwards, or better yet, for children able to sit independently. By purchasing the 0+ textile set, the Yoyo 6+ can be transformed into the Yoyo 0+ featuring a ‘reversed’ seat suitable from birth. The newborn pack also comes with a nest for the smallest babies with internal dimensions of 70 x 26 cm. The padded fabrics are fully washable. Pre-2014 models can be recognized by a missing pop-out visor on the hood.

Parent reviews of the Babyzen Yoyo+
- Compact
- Practical
- Light
- Small
- Good handling
- Spacious
- Comfortable
- Wide selection of accessories
- Design
- So far I haven't discovered any negatives
Great stroller for travelling and for the city.
It is the only one that really can be taken on board as cabin luggage, which guarantees the most comfortable travel. Lightweight, brilliantly foldable.
- Lightweight
- Foldable
- Good to ride on asphalt
- It is absolutely not suitable for any off-road or downtown where there there are cobblestones everywhere
It is absolutely not suitable for a cobbled city, but it is great for travelling!!! I take it directly on board of the plane.
- Can be used for newborns and after 6 months
- Can carry a carrycot (Maxi-Cosi)
- Can be folded extremely compact
- Can be unfolded with one hand
- All airlines bar one let us take this on board, fits under the seat
- Wheels are a bit small so for cobblestone and the like, it has its limitations
This is one fantastic stroller. Extremely compact and extremely versatile.
I disagree with the reviewer that said it's not usable in winter, it's actually very usable with skis (I have a picture on a frozen lake with the skis, and it was perfect).
- I love the colors and the washable fabrics
- Accessories are great and overall it feels good quality
- It doesn’t tip over when you put heavy things in the handlebar
- All airlines know it when they see it so you never have to explain or haggle about 2 cm
- It works with car seats using adapters
- The recline is really limited
- It also doesn’t go fully upright, i.e. it is a bit reclined even in the most upright position
We have this stroller for traveling since our baby was small (currently 18 months).
- Amazing for travel
- Acceptable as cabin baggage
- Lightweight
- Compact
- Agile
- Big sunshade
- Short handlebar
- Awkward recline adjustment
- Flimsy wheels
- Poor suspension
- Not good on even slightly bumpy surfaces
We have one of these and it's been fantastic for airport travel, but it is less good on actual pavements and roads if they are not perfectly smooth. My baby gets very agitated by the vibrations due to the lack of shock absorption.
The wheels are very small and have no grip, so our stroller got impossibly stuck in snow on our way from the airport to the car park. On smooth surfaces, it is amazingly agile and can even be steered with one hand while holding a suitcase in the other.
Another dislike is that the handle is too short, so I have to crouch slightly and take smaller steps than normal while walking to avoid bumping into the pushchair. For that reason, I would never use it as an everyday stroller. It's fine for short, temporary use while travelling though. I suppose those are the tradeoffs you have to make if you want something ultra light and compact. I do like the big sunshade.
- light
- easy folding
- tackles dfferent terrains
- swappable kits
- I found none
A perfect stroller for both travel and everyday stroller, we only use this one anymore. It is also cushioning bumps, and has gone with us over forest roads and rocks.
It is the best, easiest, easiest to handle stroller not only for travel, but also for modern people with a baby in the city. I love it - I sold all the other prams I had. We don't need a different stroller.
- Compact
- Lightweight
- Comfortable for the child
- Not usable in winter
My favourite pushchair. Even while small, it's comfortable enough for the child. I bought it when my daughter was 9mo, and I also bought the optional leg rest. The buggy is super-compact and takes up very little space. You really can take it onboard, which makes sure that the buggy won't get damaged while traveling.
The only downside is that in any real winter, it's unusable.
- Folds easily and with one hand, including the bassinet
- Weighs 6kg, easy to throw folded over the shoulder and carry around
- Long enough
- Safety belts, reclining head cushion
- Spacious lower basket
- Easy to operate with just one hand
- Can handle sand, grass or broken pavements
- Can be taken as hand luggage up on the plane
- Not very cushioned, rattles on big blocks
- No bar / handle for baby
- Price
A very good stroller! Perfect for travel, but we don't have a lift so we used it as our main stroller and it was fine too.
