Babystyle EggZ
.eli
The EggZ by Babystyle is a summer 2022 release of a compact stroller that is as comfortable and luxurious as the Egg 2, but smaller, more compact, and lighter. It is supposed to combine the easy push and smooth ride, the luxury fabrics, and the curves of the chassis of the Egg line with a more straightforward solution folding in a Z shape, from which the name is derived.
The Babystyle EggZ can fold easily and one-handedly, as it offers an automatic gravity fold. It also boasts a deep enough recline even for children that don't sit by themselves just yet. There's also the extendable canopy and a rain cover included - other accessories, such as the matching changing backpack-style bag - are to be purchased separately.

Parent reviews of the Babystyle EggZ
- fabrics
- padding
- sturdy frame
- strudy wheels
- nice to push
- easy to fold
- access to the storage basket
- narrow handle
- narrow-ish sitting space
- you cannot use a seat liner
- front wheels are smaller so they can get stuck in potholes
- the center of gravity is not the best for everybody as the handlebar cannot move, so kicking the buggy up a curb can be a challenge for some
- lie flat could be more of a lie flat
- short leg rest
- pricy
The padding is fantastic - there's even a head hugger in here, which is nice when the little one is sleeping. It does make the use of a seat liner near to impossible as well. The stroller reclines with a lever, which is great, the full lie flat is not a complete lie flat, however, but it is usable. The leg rest is a bit too short. I quite mind that the basket is VERY hard to access as the sitting part is a bit too low, and even when it is extendable/opened with a flap, it still only offers a small access space. A nice buggy, but for that money, the design solutions could be a little better thought-of.
A little heavy for such a narrow seat. It feels sturdy and kind of high-end because of that, though, and the suspension is rather nice for such a size of a pushchair. I do mind the canopy's shape though as it doesn't extend too much, and it protrudes on the upper part a bit too weirdly for me.
- Beautiful
- Sturdy
- High-quality wheels
- Too large to be taken as cabin luggage
- A bit heavy
- Basket - I would want access from the sides
- Canopy ventilation on a place it makes the sun shine on the kid
- We need something smaller so we are sending it back
We really liked the design and the wheels are high quality. The stroller does NOT fit the overhead compartment of a plane, though, and it is not as lightweight. It is quite sturdy.
Your questions about the Babystyle EggZ
Does the egg aprons fit the Egg Z stroller?
Hey, Katt,
Do you mean the aprons for the car seat(s) (and which?)? In an case, no, I don't believe an apron for any car seat will be long enough to secure in any way to the EggZ. I would go for any universal stroller apron instead - or picked a good, not too fluffy footmuff.
How to put the staps higher, please?
Hey, Terri,
You need to remove the pillow, retread - pull out, then pull in higher (it is unfortunately not too easy, but it's doable), and put the pillow back. For detailed instructions, it is best to contact the brand / distributor.
