Babylux Qbaro

The Babylux Qbaro is an affordable stroller system. The robust chassis is equipped with a soft, all-wheel suspension and air-filled wheels. The Qbaro is an interesting stroller not only because of the unusual name, but also thanks to the bold colorway of the quilted fabric of the seat, the hood and the shopping basket. The mattress in the spacious carrycot can be inclined. The reversible seat is fully reclinable. There is an optional car seat available to create a 3in1 stroller system. The stroller comes with a rain cover, a mosquito net, and aprons. This model is also sold under the brand Raf-Pol Qbaro.

Your questions about the Babylux Qbaro

1)

Hi I'm having a nightmare with the front tires. How do I get them off the axle to change the tire and inner tube?

Hi, Ami,

I am attaching the Qbaro stroller system's manual HERE, just in case (it doesn't talk much about that, however).

To start with, you remove the front wheels by punching the large button on top of them, which I believe you already know. To remove them from the axle, I would recommend finding a service or a bike shop rather than doing that at home (unless you're a technical type, which, if you can't remove them, you're probably not - me neither, just saying). You could very easily break that part as the plastic used is not of the highest quality. But the theoretical way is simply to remove a cover and loosen up the screw, but it might be there's just a rivet (which would mean you need to buy the whole new wheel, sometimes these cheap brands do that).

I personally would also try contacting the seller you bought it from and/or the manufacturer's customer service (here's Raf-Pol's facebook pagehere's the page that, in the bottom, states +48 668 618 896 + biuro@raf-pol.pl as their contact details).

I am sorry I wasn't of bigger help. I know these budget prams from Poland can cause such problems. I wish you the best of luck!

What is the handle under the carry cot for as I pull it and nothing happens.

Hello, Ash!

Ideally, I would need to see what you mean - so, next time, 😉 please send me a link with a picture so I know which you mean... But! You might mean the small levers that unlock its attachment mechanism and, after activating both, you can pull the bassinet up and have it off. I attach the Qbaro pram manual for you to see what I mean (page 7).

The Qbaros actually vary depending on the year of manufacture so there could also be a lever that opens airflow holes - do check if nothing is opening when you turn the handle/lever mechanism.

Please do upload your picture somewhere and send me a link here if I didn't respond so that you now understand what it is. I will know more with a clear picture. Thank you, and good luck!

How do you change the front tyre?

Hello, Robert,

The honest answer is, 'with great difficulty.' 😄 But really, if you don't have experience with, e.g., a bike tire change, it will be hard to do just yourself. I will suggest getting the right spare wheel tyre and with that, go to a bike shop to get help. They will help you for sure, maybe for a small fee.

The steps are, normally, like this:

1. Inspect the wheel and remove the source of the puncture (like a shard or a thorn).
2. Let out all the air from the tire by unscrewing the valve aand pushing the tire after waiting for a bit of time.
3. Push/squeeze the wheel-tire to one side.
4. Pull the inner tube out from under the tire.
5. Push in the new inner tube (you need to have one before even starting with this).
6. Straighten up the tire on the wheel rim (so it's not tilted to one side).
7. Be sure to put the valve out straight and fill the tire with an air pump.
8. Never over-inflate to not bend the wheel rim.

Here's an interesting stroller tire replacement manual with pictures to consult as well.

Good luck!

Is there any way I can just buy the adaptors? I have the whole 3 in 1 system except the adaptors to attach the car seat to the buggy. I’ve tried everywhere online and having no luck.

Hello!

I would try the shop you bought it in or directly the manufacturer Raf-Pol/Babylux. If no luck, then it's pretty much impossible (only if you found someone selling the exact model pre-loved or damaged for parts)...

Hello., can I just buy the frame with wheels?

Hello there, unfortunately, no, this configuration is not available to just buy. You can always try the manufacturer (http://www.raf-pol.com.pl/kontakt/) or any distributor of this model around you if they are not willing to order it for you as a kind of spare part, but I would not have high hopes in this case.

What Isofix goes with the car seat included?

Hello, I am sorry to say there is no Isofix base for the original Qbaro car seat. It is a cheaper brand, not offering this option.
