Parent reviews of the Babylux Largo
- cushioning, adjustable flexibility
- easy handling - I mean that the wheels spin easily
- almost everything is velcro (on the bassinet) and when I washed the covers, I had a problem to pull them back up
- the mattress had shrivelled, so it was of poor quality
I was very satisfied with it.
We have been using the stroller for about 6 weeks and we are very happy with it so far. We have tested the stroller both in the city and in natural terrain.
Awesome colour and comfort for the baby 😍 I wouldn't change it!
For the price, it's a bargain. We drive it around the village and it can take anything. I found it unnecessary to "throw" money away on an expensive stroller. This one is enough :-) We just bought a different car seat. That's the important thing ;-) We are very satisfied.
- Spacious carrycot with adjustable back for older babies
- All three parts face both rearward and forward on the stroller
- Brake - occasionally misbehaving
- Wheels - occasionally misbehaving
The stroller has a spacious carrycot, the car seat is superb, the seat unit also great. Bottom carrier (basket) is large and spacious.
Great buggy but nowhere to buy spare parts we are in need of rear wheels as brakes will not hold on to wheels.
- It is tall
- Super easy to handle
- The front wheels can be locked
- Plastic handbag grips
- Changing bag has no organiser parts so it is a "bottomless bag"
We have been using it for 2 months now and so far I am satisfied. Just a few little things, otherwise great satisfaction.
Your questions about the Babylux Largo
Is this stroller airplane friendly?
Hey, Min,
No, unfortunately, it isn't. It's heavy and bulky, meaning it will probably need to be checked out. Definitely not usable as cabin luggage.
From what age can the seat unit be used?
Hey, Bill,
Normally, it's for about 6 months and up. In the fully reclined position (in case your child doesn't wan't to, or can't stay in the carrycot anymore), it should be ok from about 4-5 months I guess, but a bit too big for such a kid (maybe some reduction insert, soft cot, or a goof footmuff would help there).
What is the mechanism of adjusting the back positions of the push seat/chair of the Largo and the White Lux? Belts, buttons, mechanism?
Hey, Tedy,
The Babylux brand's stroller system's seats are adjusted with a rear kind of lever mechanism. The led rest adjusts by pulling it upward, and releases with side push mechanisms.
Can my baby sleep in the seat unit overnight?
Hello, Kaci,
No, it can't. It is not certified nor ventilated enough for that, and it could pose a risk to your baby.
Is it foldable?
Hi, Nosheen,
The stroller can be folded, yes. It is a two-piece fold - you remove the seat or carrycot, then fold the chassis. It is a bulkier model, so not the smallest.
Can i use it as double buggy instead of single? And how?
Hi, Abeer,
No, this pram cannot be converted into a double. The best you can do is to attach a buggy board (some can have a seat you pay extra for) or a Buggypod, however both options will make the pushing harder.
We got brought a Babylux Largo stroller black with white and black spots. I was wondering if I'm able to buy the car seat for it.
Hiya, Banger,
The car seat is normally ordered WITH the pram, WHEN buying it. It is not just sold freely, anywhere, so your best bet is to contact the seller about the possibility of ordering a fitting car seat for your pram.
How do I adjust the push handle as the stroller? The frame is too long to fit into the boot of my car.
Hi, Bradley,
You cannot do much in terms of the pram's bulkiness. To adjust the handlebar, you can only push both side inside buttons to rotate it upward or downward, but you cannot shorten it more than by such rotating. You might need a smaller stroller for your car boot if this one doesn't ft even after removing the wheels.
How do you remove front wheel from the forks to change the inner tube ? Thanks
Hi, Suzi,
There's the swivel lock mechanism above the wheel that locks or frees the swiveling of the front wheel by turning it. Above it, there's a button to push inside which will make the wheel attachment loose and removable from the fork.
After that, removing the wheel from the fork is a bit harder, to be honest. You need some equipment to unscrew the screws, ideally making a video or at least pictures of which was where to put it back up easier (mainly if you do this for the first time). It is not a thing I would advise to anybody that is not at least a bit technically skilled or not having the right key. So, there is a hex key part that you need to unscrew with this small key very similar to Ikea furniture key. After loosening it up, the opening of the fork is in place.
An extra piece of advice if you don't feel too good about this is to visit a good bike shop where they'll help you with changing the tire for a small fee, usually.
Is there anywhere that I can buy the seat unit in black and pink for the Largo pram from? Thanks
Hey, Lisa,
No, not really, apart from being bought as a spare part directly from the manufacturer or a distributor in your country, just the seat units or other spare parts are not available for these cheap Polish prams. I would suggest browsing classifieds or searching Facebook groups, asking mums having the same model for a swap to change/freshen up their pram.
