Babyhome Vida
The Babyhome Vida is a higher version of the Babyhome Emotion. This super lightweight stroller features a unique, wavy-lined chassis. The Vida is longer, taller and wider, compared to the original Emotion, but it’s still extremely compact. Thanks to the width of 50 cm, the Vida can easily handle narrow shopping aisles as well as small elevators. Vida’s wheels are smaller in size, although made of quality thermoplastic rubber. The soft, all-wheel suspension makes the stroller easily maneuverable and provides a smoother ride.
The good news is that you can adjust the backrest of the front-facing seat unit one-handedly. The seat unit offers a 150-degree-recline and therefore is also suitable for children that can’t sit by themselves yet. The fabrics of the seat unit are removable and fully washable. Back of the seat features a swing-away cover, and there’s a mesh, magnetic window on the hood - they allow the air flow through and provide a well-ventilated environment for your child. There are two options to create a practical travel system out of the Vida. Using adapters, a car seat can be added to the chassis. The Vida package also includes a rain cover and a mosquito net. For your newborn, you can also buy an optional soft insert carrycot with its own hood. There is a wide range of accessories available to purchase separately - for example, a cup holder, a parasol, a hood extension in the form of a zip-on sun visor as well as an all-seasons footmuff with four removable layers.

Parent reviews of the Babyhome Vida
- compactness
- low weight
- positioning almost to full lie flat
- ventilation nets on the sides (magnet operated)
- spacious shopping basket
- not a very sturdy chassis - after some time I noticed that the handle of the stroller is slightly tilted to one side
- hard material of the wheels - a lot of rattling on uneven surfaces, even though they are partially sprung
- bad anchoring of the wheels - after about half a year the rear wheels started to pop out of the structure while driving and after some time they could not be put back in (the stroller is used only in the city) - it is de facto suitable for flat asphalt pavements, the pavement we have in our housing area was obviously unsuitable
A very light, compact stroller that fits everywhere, but the frame is not very sturdy. The material and type of wheels did not suit us at all - and we do not go off-road at all. I'd say it's mainly suitable for summer somewhere on flat asphalt sidewalks.
- High - 25kg weight limit
- Just 7 kg of weight of the stroller
- 90cm seat surface length
- 5 kg basket capacity
- Easy basket access - even when the child is napping in the reclined position
- High-quality fabrics that protect from the sun rays
- Fabric parts can be unzipped, and machine washed
- Leg rest is adjustable
- UPF50 hood with a zip-open extra panel - extendable
- An original Babyhome hood sun visor making the hood even longer
- An original Babyhome mosquito net that zips on the hood (plus velcros and rubbers on the sides) - it fits and holds well
- An original Babyhome rain cover that holds it shape
- Rain cover and mosquito net included with the stroller
- Magnetic ventilation windows on the side of the hood
- Main peek-a-boo window also silent - magnetic
- A very sleek chassis with wheels that don't protrude
- Rubber wheels
- Quiet wheels
- Swivel, lockable wheels
- Height-adjustable handlebar - good news for tall parents
- The handle is far enough from the base of the chassis - I don't kick the stroller
- Foam handle and bumper bar that's pleasant to touch
- Different colorways to choose from
- Easy one-hand manipulation
- Soft seat
- The silver rim of the hood makes it nice and firm in its shape
- Easy folding and compactness
- The rear fabric can be lifted to open a ventilation window
- The brake is on the right side, meaning I don't kick it while walking
- Holes between the hood and the chassis
- Sun visor, bumper bar, and cup holder are not included - you have to buy them separately (but some sellers may offer some to you as a gift with your purchase)
- I had to search hard for the sun visor; it is not that widely available
- The same goes for the cup holder, but this is not that much of a con since you can also get a universally fitting one
- I didn't find an original leg cover, so I had one made (or you can get a universal one as well)
- The mesh pocket in the rear part doesn't seem as secure - I wouldn't put heavier things in it, they could fall out when the backrest is reclined
- Only one zipper on the hood - so you can only use the sun visor OR the mosquito net, not both at the same time - but it is possible to sew some kind of shade on the hood if you are able to
- Large rear ventilation window doesn't have mesh on it
- No window on the rain cover
- The top window I'd move on the rear panel of the hood - I have to bend forward to be able to use it
We bought this stroller as the last one for our son. I searched for something lightweight to be able to lift it, something with high weight capacity; and something minimalist and elegant. I didn't know much about this stroller nor the brand, but I bumped into this one for a very good price, and it seemed to meet my requirements - so I decided to risk it and buy it. I only own it for a short time, but I can surely tell I like it a lot. This may be my best, most favorite stroller form all, actually. Even though it has some disadvantages, I am rating it 10/10. A top-of-the-line urban stroller with a whopping 25kg weight capacity that is also great for traveling.
