Baby Jogger City Premier
The Baby Jogger City Premier is the successor of the City Versa. It combines the best features of the Versa and the popular City Select. The City Premier is a luxury stroller with a reversible bucket seat. The seat is one of the longest on the market. You can even extend the leg rest for a bigger child. The larger wheels with all-round suspension can handle even rougher terrain. City Premier features a simple folding system that you can operate with one hand. After folding, the full-size stroller becomes surprisingly compact. Using adapters, you can attach a car seat or a carrycot to the stroller. You can choose the narrower foldable Compact carrycot or the sturdy Deluxe carrycot. All accessories, including the bumper bar, must be purchased separately.

Best Deals for Baby Jogger City Premier
Parent reviews of the Baby Jogger City Premier
- large wheels suitable for off-road use, all wheels are cushioned
- easy to fold together with the seat, so there is no need to disassemble
- the handle cover can be easily unzipped and cleaned if necessary
- handbrake with comfortable control on the handle
- the quality of the materials and the overall impression is on a higher level
- weight of the pram - it corresponds to the higher load capacity
We couldn't have chosen better, we strongly recommend it.
- Suspension on all wheels
- Large basket
- Handles any terrain
- Large canopy
- Faces both directions
- Bucket seat
- No belly bar included
An excellent stroller. If it had a normal lie-flat reclining seat, it would get a 10. But that's purely a matter of opinion. My daughter couldn't stand the seat, my son slept exclusively in the bucket seat unit.
- large bucket-type seat
- telescoping handle
- large all-terrain wheels
- the seat can face both directions
- the chassis folds with the seat in any direction
- a basket with a 10kg weight capacity
- a seat with a 25kg weight capacity
- peek-a-boo window in the canopy
- 3 recline positions
- leg rest is adjustable
An American pushchair that can go almost through anything. We experienced sand, gravel, off-road, and we managed well - and from the name, one would think it's an urban stroller. It looks great, elegant, nice colors too - nothing too bold. Even is my son's pushchair days are pretty much over, I am not gonna get rid of it - such a gem would be so hard to find in the future with, e.g., a second kid...
- huge shopping basket
- the stroller is also suitable for taller people thanks to the adjustable handle
- long backrest, which is not common in bucket seats
- brake on the handle of the stroller
- good rear wheel suspension
- high quality fabrics
- higher weight, but this goes hand in hand with the carrying capacity of the stroller
- the leg rest could be a bit longer, my one year old son soon reaches the end of the extended version
We've only had the stroller for a short time, but after spending an hour outside I already know it's one of the best we've ever had. The stroller does feel heavier, but that goes hand in hand with its carrying capacity, which is one of the highest on the market, as well as its loading seat area. It has a fairly long backrest, which is not as common with bucket seats - but desirable for that reason.
It has good rear-wheel suspension, so it handles even bigger bumps in comfort without rattling or possibly waking baby. Its shopping basket is downright huge, but open and mesh, so this could be one of the shortcomings. The whole workmanship of the stroller is very high quality, as well as the fabrics used. However, the minus is its price, which is really an above-standard price for just a pushchair.
There's not much to fault the average, but it's not a stroller for moms looking for a lightweight convertible due to its weight and width. It is, however, a sturdy, high quality and comfortable stroller.
Your questions about the Baby Jogger City Premier
Does it fit in the overhead compartment on a plane?
Hello there, Bea,
No, this is a full-sized, full-featured stroller, not compact enough to fit the carry-on size when folded. Strollers fitting those measurements are significantly smaller and simpler than the City Premier. You could either check it in or look into your airline's policy for baby's luggage, but this won't be going into the overhead compartment of a plane.
Can I add a second seat to this stroller?
Hey, Cassie,
No, this is a singer stroller only, there's no way to add a second seat to this.
Hi!
What adapter would I need for the City Premier stroller to fit a Graco Click Connect car seat? Thx
Hi, Katherine,
You will simply need the Graco adaptors for the City Premier. As a not too much sold anymore model, you may need to try to contact the customer service about availability of that.
Will the bassinet conversion kit for the City Select stroller work with the City Select Premier?
Hey, Lynz,
No, it won't, the seat size is different and it won't work like that unfortunately.
My City Versa seat broke. Will the City Premier seat fit? And if so, can I still use the seat cover and purchase just the frame or do I need to purchase the frame with cover?
Hi, Becka,
I believe the seat should fit, the attachment seems to be the same. I personally never tried that though. I cannot 100% tell if the fabrics will fit, either, but I think at least part of them will. I would get a seat with the covers just to be sure.
Hey,
I was told that not all Baby Jogger bassinets will fit the Baby jogger city premier, is it so? And if so, what bassinet model will?
Thanks a lot!
Hey, Adam,
Not all bassinets will fit the City Premier, no. The older ones will though (as the model is already discontinued) - the Compact carrycot or the Deluxe carrycot. You need to be checking the older bassinets n classifieds as those bassinets are no longer sold.
What adapter would I need for the City Premier stroller to fit a Chicco car seat?
Hi, Krista,
There is this adapter car seat, however as the Premier is discontinued, you may have problems finding it. Try checking more on Amazon / eBay, or looking in classifieds. Other than with this, you won't be able to attach a Chicco capsule on this frame.
Hello!
I want to know if I can go for runs with this pram? I know it's the Baby Jogger brand, but not sure if it's safe for it. Thanks!
Hi, Cam,
I am sorry but no, despite that brand name (yes, Baby Jogger strollers were at first just three-wheeled joggers and the first joggers in the US), this - and other - four-wheel models from Baby Jogger are NOT suitable for running, jogging, in-line skating or other sports activities. It is even in their manual. They are simply daily strollers.
Read more about the difference in the number of wheels and uses of strollers HERE in this article. And no worries, you're not by far the first making that mistake of assuming a BabyJogger is a jogger. Not anymore, not most of them. For jogging, check, for example, the City Elite 2.
Does the Baby Jogger City Select seat frame fit on the Baby Jogger City Premier chassis?
Hello,
Based on the attachment system, it should, YES.
However, it's a smaller seat frame, and the center of gravity doesn't count on a differently sized seat to be fitted, so it might happen that a different pushchair model's seat might affect the maneuverability of the stroller, ranging from just a little to tipping over in some cases (which means endangering your baby).
In general, then, the Baby Jogger City Select seat should fit on the Premier chassis just fine, but it might be a worse stroller experience. That is why I don't recommend fitting a seat that is not meant for the frame.
Hi :)
Would the Baby Jogger City Versa bassinet fit on the Baby Jogger City Premier?
Thank you 🙏🏻❤️ Eva
Hello, Eva!
Yes, the Baby Jogger City Versa click on attachment system is the same as the City Premier's, so YES, it will fit the Versa and the Premier just fine 😉
