Joie Evalite Duo: Can you plane travel with this pram?

Marjole • 07 Feb 2024

Are Joie Evalite Duo suitable to travel with on a plane?

We will be travelling a far distance and have multiple kids. I would like to use the buggy to keep everyone together but I can't see anywhere on the buggy if it is allowed by the airport. We will be travelling from Dublin to South Africa. Layover most likely in Dubai.

Any advice please.

Hello, Marjole,

It definitely is possible, but it's not totally comfortable – it's a bulky model, and you will, most probably, need to check it in. There are some airlines that do allow baby luggage (that you take up until the plane, then is taken over by the stewrdsň, but this depends on the airline and also on the age of the child(ren).

Otherwise, the checking it in is your only option - nad it is possible, however, sometimes, the handling can get a stroller scratched or even damaged. This is not a rule, just does happen from time to time. Which is where the trend of tiny travel strollers came - people wanted the strollers with them.

Ideal is to check your options with the airline(s) of your choice, and be ready to have to check it in.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
