A lighter stroller with a nice basket and good for traveling as well

Samclo • 29 Jul 2023

Hi Eli,

I'm looking to buy a stroller to replace my heavy travel system. I had the Peg-Pérego Book 51. My daughter is 11 months at the moment, about 75cm and 9.5kg and on 75th percentile.

I pretty much only do pavement walking. I'd like something lightweight with large storage basket and large sun canopy would be great.

We are also going abroad in 2 weeks so would need to take it with us, it can be put in the hold but being able to take on with us would be an advantage.

I bought the Graco Myavo, but it feels far too cheap. I've looked at Joie Parcel, Silvercross Clic and Chicco Goody.

I need helping choosing as I'm tying myself in knots and my husband thinks I'm mental!

Thanks
Sam

Heya, Sam,

I think you are trying too much to combine an affordable price, a very very small fold (keeping in mind the traveling), and that convenience of a large basket and low weight. All of your options are on the cheaper side, not as comfy while small for a larger basket. Personally, if you have the Myavo which is travel-sized, I would go for a mid-size lightweight instead - it will be much more comfortable for the kid as well as for you.

I will suggest a Valco Snap, Joie Litetrax 4, Oyster Zero (Gravity) (which would be my favorite), or a Baby Jogger City Mini (this one has worse basket access but is durable and very flat after folding.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
