Valco Baby Ion for 2 (Ion Twin)
The Valco Baby Ion for 2 (also known as the Ion Twin or the Ion Duo) is a double stroller suitable for twins or siblings with a small age gap. The Ion for 2 has distinct round-shaped seat design as well as the shopping basket and the handle. The high weight capacity seats are suitable from birth either with or without the newborn insert which has to be purchased separately and added to the seat. The newborn insert resembles a half carrycot - a mattress with side-panels and a hood. Only one car seat can be added to the Ion for 2. The older versions can be identified by the logo ‘Alu’ on the side of the chassis and the not adjustable leg rest. The adjustable leg rest feature was added later on, but it is not available for every country. Some of the older versions have a sun visor on the hood instead of the option of extending the hood by unzipping.
