Twistshake Tour

The Twistshake Tour is a Swedish-production stroller launched in May 2020. This pushchair-only model is not only lightweight and compact but also makes your life easier thanks to the compatibility with a dedicated Twistshake cup/bottle holder or a phone holder to place on the handlebar. With that, a spacious, padded seat that lies-flat suitable even for babies that don't sit by themselves yet, individual four-wheel suspension to better tackle not-so-smooth urban sidewalks, an adjustable handlebar, and a canopy with a large sun visor.

Parent reviews of the Twistshake Tour
The fabric is thinner than I'd like and the apron is kind of too low. Otherwise, an OK push and a lightweight buggy for the city.
- handy
- agile
- light colour
- seat could be larger
Handy and agile. The seat’s on the smaller side. We have the one in beige - a cool colour for summer.
- the push
- the handle
It pushes wonderfully. The stroller also looks great with an Elodie Details footmuff.
I love the weight and foldability, but the open, flappy sides annoy me. I also want a more extensive sun coverage and a MUCH larger storage basket with my next child (and buggy). I'll also go for a pushchair with matching cosytoes available next time. The sold-separately rain cover is very good, on the other hand.
- maneuverability
- price (when "on sale")
- nice design
- adjustable handle
- simplicity
- I'd like a longer leg rest
- I'd like a longer hood
- foam-covered handle
I did use the Twistshale bottles and was very pleased with how they are elaborate. On the other hand, the pushchair feels a bit simple. For the price (under 300 EUR on their site, even if they claim a sale) is good, but twice that price (given as the original price) is over much for this buggy. It's nice for city moms and it turns on the spot, but don't expect the sturdiest model.
The weight and maneuverability are very very nice. I truly appreciate the agile swivel wheels. The stroller fabrics feel a bit too simple to me, however, and I wish the basket would be deeper. I also don't like the gap on the sides of the canopy.
Your questions about the Twistshake Tour
Hi, are the materials of the stroller UV-resistant?
Thank u!
Hey, Meme,
The fabrics are, as far as I know, not UV-resistant, no.
Can you write the dimensions of the backrest? Is it appropriate for a tall baby?
Hiya, Sanya,
The manufacturer is set up not to make the seat dimensions public, and I personally haven't got a chance yet to measure it myself. I can try and make an educated guess, as I did see the stroller, and I would say it is about 44-46 cm. Unfortunately, the hood is not that high over it, so I would say a very tall child will not have crazy much space in it. You can normally use it up to about 2.5-3 years of age of an average child.
I’ve searched the www and I can’t seem to find a review that tells me how well a baby sleeps in it.
Hi, Alex,
The seat is padded, even if not crazy much, and it reclines fully. The stroller itself is light, so you can't expect a crazy smooth ride, it will rattle a little on bumpy terrain. But for the most part - and normal walks, a not-too-large baby will nap just fine when in this stroller and a fully reclined position. For very sunny days, though, you might want a larger sun shade - and buy some extra universal one.
Hello,
I read about Twistshake Tour noisy wheeles. Is this true?
Hi, Nave,
Well, it is not the sturdiest nor an all-terrain beast, and the plastic on Twistshakes is definitely on the cheaper side, so yes, on real bumps and holes and cobblestones, the stroller may rattle slightly - but it is nothing horrible, at least from my experiences meeting this pushchair multiple times. I actually never stood in awe wondering about the horrible rattling, the stroller feels average for the type in that category (Peg-Péregos for example rattle much more). Just a regular urban stroller for rather smooth pavements, and you will be fine if you won't expect a super quiet ride on bumps.
What is the height of the stroller? I am a tall person and would not want to bend whole pushing it :)
Hi, Esther,
The Tour has an average handlebar height of 101 cm, which is a bit low. It is adjustable, but just for a few centimeters, meaning it will be ok for an average parent and a bit of a taller one, too, but for a very tall 185 cm+) parent, it might be a bit too low.
Hi,
Can this stroller fit a Mini Cooper car after folding?
Hello, Ima,
The Tour's folded dimensions are 61 cm x 51 cm x 36 cm. It absolutely should fold small enough to fit the Mini Cooper's trunk. If still unsure, measure your trunk as well as the opening to be surer still, but the Tour is not a bulky pushchair after folding, so there should be no problem, size-wise. The dimensions of the Mini Cooper boot just confirm that, read more:
Just to compare, the dimensions of a 3-door Mini Cooper hatchback boot are
Length of boot floor - back row of seats folded down or removed:
1185mm
Length of boot floor - back row of seats upright:
450mm
Vertical height of boot opening:
704mm
Boot sill height to floor of car:
76mm
Boot sill height to ground:
642mm
Width of boot floor at narrowest point:
805mmWidth of boot opening - bottom:890mm
When folded, does it fit in the overhead bin of an airplane, as hand luggage?
Hi, MID,
No, the Twistshake Tour pushchair is not an ultra-compact stroller so it does NOT fold into cabin-size measurement. No airline will accept this mid-size, world-facing lightweight stroller onboard as a piece of carry-on luggage, it's too big for that after folding.
You CAN, however, travel with it - they will take it from you when boarding, store it elsewhere, and return it to you when getting off the airplane.
If you're searching for a cabin-sized ultracompact stroller, read this article to find out the best options for this summer that will fit the airlines' requirements.
From which age (months) can you use the stroller? On the website it is stated: 0+. Is this true?
Hi, Bella,
As a lie-flat stroller, the Twistshake Tour can officially be used from newborn. Such a type, however - and I mean a forward-facing, open one, should be used with such small babies only occasionally. I, personally, would use it from about 4-6 months of age (in the reclined position, if the baby didn't sit up by itself (without help). Or, if you truly need something like this right from birth, I'd get a newborn insert or a soft insert carrycot (a universal one) to make the space cozier for a newborn.
If you're not in a situation truly needing only a world-facing pushchair, go for something with a carrycot option, and this only use as a secondary stroller until the baby's around 4-6 months.
