Maxi-Cosi Zelia²
The Maxi-Cosi Zelia² is an upgrade of the Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2in1 pramette seat stroller system. The advantage of this model is that for a relatively affordable price, you get both the bassinet and the seat unit in one body, which you can convert from one to the other as needed by simply unbuckling and loosening the harness. The second generation Zelia has been improved in the seating area, not only in design but also in size - the Zelia 2 seat as well as carrycot is larger. The reasonably compact folded size also remains an advantage thanks to the seat that folds into itself. The high-quality wheels with moderate rear suspension can also handle some rougher urban terrain. When shopping, you'll appreciate the huge shopping basket with good access.
The seat is, of course, fully reversible and reclining in a bucket-style way, up to lie-flat. It includes a soft pad, which is handy for the carrycot configuration and newborn baby. Because of the smaller seat size, the Zelia is an ideal "starter" stroller to be replaced a roomier lightweight pushchair or buggy buggy for an older, 1/1.5 year old child. A car seat can also be fitted to the stroller using adapters with memory buttons. The Zelia 2 was also released under the Bébé Confort brand as the Bébé Confort Zelia².

- Wheels & Suspension
- My boy is absolutely uncomfortable in the pram and being thrown around by every bump on the road
- Rattly ride...
- Short seat (when in the pushchair setup)
I am in a desperate search for ANY wheels that would fit this that would have tires, either gel-filled or air-filled... These eva foam wheels are horrible. My little boy feels every single bump and he's thrown around in his pram... They designed the wheels and suspension part really badly, probably only meant it for shops and completely smooth surfaces 😞
- nice price-performance (at the first glace at least)
- seat size
- wide frame
- not much for terrain
- missing an adjustable handle
I wish it'd be more compact. Also, I cannot believe the seat will last as long as the weight limit for the child says - I mean, my 10mo feels like filling the seat already. I do love the hood and the nice fabrics.
- bassinet and seat in one
- affordable price
- stylish look
- basket is nice
- the seat is not roomy (mainly if you compare the weight capacity and the actual room)
- I'd love more suspension
Awesomely stylish and for a great price! But too short a seat, meaning do assume for it to last maybe a year, year ad a half at the maximum. After that, I am already having a more spacious buggy ready.
Your questions about the Maxi-Cosi Zelia²
Hello!
I had a "traditional", hard base lay flat bassinet with my first, and now got the Maxi Cosi Zelia.
Now, with my newborn, I am a bit unsure and want to hear it from someone else - should I put the newborn in, just so? On the inserted padding? Is it alright to put him in? Or should I take all the padding out..? I just need to hear how to use it properly, I guess.
I really appreciate any help you can provide. ☺️
Hey, there!
No worries there, these 2in1 prams/pushchairs (the better ones, usually) always do have some padding inside since the base is thinner and less solid than a 'normal' hard-based carrycot. So yes, you can use the carrycot just so, with the padding - it is newborn-friendly 😊 No need to remove the padding until maybe you need more space for the growing child later on.
