Maxi-Cosi Adorra
The Maxi-Cosi Adorra was released in 2017. For a full-sized stroller with a sturdy chassis, it is relatively lightweight. The massive shopping basket is complemented by a small, clip-on bag. The robust foam wheels with suspension can also handle a bit of terrain. You can fold the stroller one-handedly, even with the seat facing whichever direction.
The luxuriously padded seat is fully reversible and can be reclined flat. It also features an extra large, extendable hood. It is possible to raise the sides of the seat unit to imitate the protection of the carrycot, enabling you to use the seat unit from birth. However, you can also purchase the foldable Oria carrycot or the car seat adapters to create a full-featured stroller system. The Adorra was also released in the special, patterned edition Graphic Flower as well as in the limited Nomad collection. This stroller was also launched under the sub-brand Bébé Confort as the Bébé Confort Adorra.

Best Deals for Maxi-Cosi Adorra
Parent reviews of the Maxi-Cosi Adorra
- comfy seat
- huge basket space
- large canopy coverage
- folds with the seat attached
- reversible seat that fits a 2yo
- bulky-is fold
- not the lightest
A very comfy, padded seat. Fits my 2 year old just fine. And the basket is to die for!
- Not heavy
- Easy to assemble
- Stylish
- Big shopping basket
- Hard to maneuver when seat facing backward
- Noisy back wheels
- Canopy could be larger
- Ugly seat fabrics in the flat position
It good but not great. I tried it out in a store and I was impressed how easy and smooth it rides. But it is only so when the seat is facing forward! When I started using the Adorra with my baby, facing backward ofc, the stroller became heavy and uneasy to ride.
- Nice large no-puncture wheels
- Large underslung basket
- Seat parent faces and lies flat
- Fantastic padding with insert
- Quality fabrics
- Noisy front wheels
- I'd love a pivoting handle more
We like it overall since our daughter likes to ride in it. Not the smallest but absolutely recommendable.
- comfortable, spacious reversible seat
- huge shopping basket
- modern design
- the center of gravity changes when you reverse the seat (facing you)
- brake placement
- noisy rear wheels
- bulky fold
I would sum the Maxi-Cosi Adorra model up as a modern urban medium-sized stroller with a very, very pleasant weight - mainly compared to its size and space. There are multiple advantages that make it very easy to think about buying it - the padded, reversible seat unit that's honestly fantastically comfortable for any baby; the extra-large, accessible basket, the canopy coverage, and the stable chassis... But, as any giver pushchair, it has its downsides that made me a little indecisive in the end - mainly the brake and the center of gravity with a reversed, reclined seat. They are not that bad to darken the pros completely - but it always depends on what the priorities are and what do you need versus what do you mind the most. It's usually only a matter of time - for the manufacturer to make some details better and change things to better suit the customers. Anyway, if your car boot is large enough and the child's comfort is the thing you care about the most, the Adorra is an interesting choice for sure. My personal rating would be 65 % - with a possibility to go much much higher if the main negative points would change (or if they wouldn't affect you).

Your questions about the Maxi-Cosi Adorra
Hey!
I've just read your review on Adorra (I have one), and I totally agree with the reverse seat gravity problem. My question is: is there the same problem when carrycot attached? Is it hard to push the stroller with a carrycot on like with the reversed seat unit? (I don't have the carrycot but I'm considering buying one).
Hi, Mejl,
Glad to hear you agree with my Maxi-CoSi Adorra review, even though not so glad you, too, have a problem with the center of gravity with the seat parent-facing.
With a carrycot, the problem will persist a little bit, but as a shorter-based part, it will be much less prominent and pretty much doable. If you already have the pushchair and thinking about the pram, I think you should get the carrycot - I mean, you already made it this far, so it's practical to stay with the same (as opposed to buying a new, different one - I mean, it can always not fit you anyhow). It will be a bit better with the bassinet part for sure.
