Kolcraft Cloud Sport

The Kolcraft Cloud Sport is a very lightweight, very affordable stroller with a single handlebar - a pushchair similar to the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, but with a few extra features. Added extras would be the viewing window closing flap, an internal pocket in the seat to store small possessions of the child to have close at hand, and harness padding on the shoulders.

Even if not adjustable, a leg rest is present, and the backrest, equipped with a five-point-harness, is adjustable partially (half-laying position), inclinable with a strap mechanism. The canopy is extendable with a large sun visor. After a few tries, the stroller can be folded with one hand. A parent tray (organizer) and a removable tray for the baby (instead of a bumper bar) are included with the pushchair. You'll use the Cloud Sport with an older toddler and for occasional use - small errands, undemanding trips, or to keep in the car.

Your questions about the Kolcraft Cloud Sport

1)

Can this be used for an infant 3 months plus that week ghs about 20 lbs?

Heya, Jean,

No, it should definitely not be used with such a small baby. This is a very simple stroller with quite a rattly frame and not a fully reclining seat (no lie-flat) - meaning a stroller for undemanding, occasional use with a toddler that sits by him- or herself without any help. Which means you should only use it from about 6-10 months AFTER your baby, without your help, sits just so. Until then, to not damage your child's neck or spine, you should be using a newborn-friendly pram that offers a completely horizontal position.

2)

What is the maximum height for a toddler for this stroller? My 2 year old is 36” and I want a stroller that will last until he’s out of a stroller.

Hi there,

I cannot tell you the exact "child size" this stroller can take as that caries incredibly with how the child is built, how it sits, etc. If you, however, want a stroller for a two years old that will last you, this is definitely not it. A super fragile built will be very hard to push with him already, and he is, from my point of view, pretty much on the top of what this stroller can take, room-wise (perhaps about 6 months more he'd be ok in it, but just maybe). I'd definitely go for something a little more sturdily built and a better-made seat - it all depends on your budget, too, of course.
