The Kinderkraft Nubi is a stylish, budget-friendly ultra-compact stroller awarded the Red Dot Design Award in the Product Design (2020) category. Featuring a lie-flat, roomy seat (for the type) and an easy-clean T-shaped belly bar, the Nubi is a pushchair good for traveling with smaller babies as well as older toddlers. The frame of the buggy allows you to fold it one-handedly, and the low weight is combined with all-wheel suspension for a smoother urban ride. A cup holder, a rain cover, a carry strap, and an apron are included with the Nubi.

parents say thx^^

Small and foldable. More stylish than most. Not the most luxurious irl but a very nice value for money nonetheless.

Best for shopping

3
  • price-performance
  • small, noisy wheels

Wheels are a bit noisy. For the price, OK; best for shopping.

  • lightweight and compact
  • nice and relatively roomy seat
  • T-bar👍👍👍
  • price 😎
  • full lay-flat
  • seat sits quite upright (I mean, I expected worse)
  • the fabrics feel cheap, but it's a budget pushchair
  • the drinks holder... why do they put it on the side, it is sooo in the way 😩

A very nice, stylish while budget travel stroller option. One does feel the lower price on the fabric finishes and sewing. My kid loves the T-bar and I like that the seat is not as slumped as on some other ultracompacts. It's even rather roomy for what it is. I feel like the inspiration came from the Cybex Eezy S+2, but with deliberate changes.

Your questions about the Kinderkraft Nubi

1)

Is the handle reversible?

Hey, Pamela,

No, the handle is fixed.

2)

Would this be ok for weekly use around 4 times a week?

Hi, Chlo,

It depends on what use. This is a VERY SMALL, occasional-use stroller, and for occasional use älike for the shop, to the doctor), it will be ok. For any terrain, long hours in the pram, and so on, you might consider a sturdier, more comfortable buggy though.

3)

I wonder if you might kick the brake bar while walking, or is there enough space? Same question about baby's head and parent's knees when the seat is flat.

Hi, Ginger,

Well, this is a very small, very compact travel stroller for mostly occasional use, well, yes, especially when you are tall, you might kick the rear axle (the axle and the wheels probably more than the brake), and when the seat will be reclined, yeah, your knees might feel it. This is much less of a problem for short people. For a lot of space, you will unfortunately need a larger stroller.

I can’t get my brand new pram to fold. What might I be doing wrong?

Hey, Beth,

If you fold just like the manual or the instructional video on YouTube says (slide the button on the handle, then push the other button, then start folding), there is probably an internal problem with the folding, some kind of dysfunctional piece. Don't force it crazy much, and if a normal way doesn't work, contact the seller and claim your warranty.

5)

Do you think a 3-year-old would fit in comfortably?

Hey there, Choccheeks,

Well, I would say no, not comfortably. If it's not a very tall or very large child, you will be able to fit him or her in, however this is a travel stroller, narrower and overall smaller, and a three years old will be tight in there, being almost at the maximum recommended age.

So, for occasional use, you will be ok, but if you need space and comfort, I would definitely go for a larger stroller. It, of course, depends on the kid's size and needs (and also the season and the thickness of clothing) very much.

Is the leg warmer only supposed to have 1 button to connect to the pram or 2? Wondering if mine is broke

Hi, Caitlyn,

I believe there is just one button on every side of the apron to be attached to the sides, no more on the lower parts.

7)

Can you take this on a plane? Thanks

Hiya, tash,

With the folded dimensions of 55 cm x 43 cm x 22 cm, the Nubi should be OK to be taken on board as a carry-on, yes. The cabin luggage requirements are, however, different from airline to airline, so it is best to check the measurements with yours.
