Your questions about the Hauck Lacrosse

1)

Hi,

I have a Hauck Lacrosse 3 in 1 but I will buy the Cybex Aton 5 (0-13kg) car seat for more road safety. Is it possible to connect them both via adapter?

Hello, Bakish,

Unfortunately, no, the Hauck Lacrosse pram doesn't offer a Maxi-Cosi/Cybex car seat adapters option. So, you can only use the Cybex Aton5 in your car but not on the Lacrosse stroller frame.

You can also get a very light buggy frame just to use as a travel system with your Aton - or be happy with the Lacrosse dedicated Hauck Zero Plus Comfort car seat. I mean, it's actually not the worst car seat out there, safety-wise (even if there are better) - It got an 'Acceptable' result in ADAC tests.

But, of course, the Cybex Aton 5 is better... just not compatible with this chassis.

Hello,

I have a Hauck Lacrosse 3 in 1 pram, what Isofix base is compatible with the baby car seat?

Hi, J Lou,

There's, unfortunately, no Isofix base for the Lacrosse's car seat capsule available. The Hauck brand never offered it in the set, and the car seat was made only for this kind of set. For Isofix base, safer car seats, you will need to look at different brands that won't be compatible with your pram's frame.

Hi,

What age is the Lacrosse suitable up to ..? Like max weight..?

Hello, Soam,

If you click on the "Seat unit" part in the Specifications on the Lacrosse's page, you'll see it's for children up to 15 kg. It should last you up to about 3 years of age of your child (if the child is not extremely large or tall, that would shorten the time of use of this pushchair).

What car seat will attach to the pram? Will the comfort fix car seat work with it?

Hello,

The Lacrosse is an older model, so I am not sure I'd risk trying a new car seat type on it, even though - yes, I am pretty sure it WILL fit the Lacrosse since the attachment system is the same. It is good to say that the Lacrosse was sold as a ready-made Shop'n'Drive travel system with the matching Zero Plus Comfort 0+ car seat, so an older variation.

The Hauck Comfort Fix car seat is, officially, compatible with the Vegas, Duett 2 and Duett 3 and Lift Up 4 strollers (with adapters) and the Rapid 3 and Rapid 4 (without adapters).

Again, I will say that it should be compatible, but you never know with older models - there might be a glitch. With the Zero Plus Comfort 0+ car seat, you have the compatibility granted.
