Emmaljunga Scooter 4
The Emmaljunga Scooter 4 is a super agile, all-terrain stroller with four large, fixed wheels of the same size. The front wheels of the closely related Scooter 4S are swivel and smaller - if you would search that option. When purchasing the stroller, you can choose various color editions. The type of the wheels (air-filled AIR or no-maintenance, rubber Light Ecco wheels) depends on which color you go for. The older models were equipped with only the foam Light Ecco wheels. You can also recognize them by the presence of a foam handlebar that was covered in leatherette in the later models. The hood used to be less elaborate-looking as well, featuring side pockets and a small sun visor. Thanks to the soft suspension system, the chassis offers a smooth ride. Compared to other similarly all-terrain strollers, the Scooter 4 offers a relatively compact fold. Once the wheels are removed, the stroller fits into the boot of a smaller car.
The fixed seat unit doesn’t offer a full recline. Therefore, the Scooter 4 is better suited for children older than six months. Thanks to the generous padding and satisfactory space the seat offers, the stroller can handle even a toddler - up to the time you don’t need to use the stroller anymore. Another advantage is the removable and washable upholstery with reflective stripes.
The Scooter is not compatible with any other carrycot, seat unit, or car seat.

Parent reviews of the Emmaljunga Scooter 4
- long sleeping area (90 cm)
- the lower position of the seat is perfect for toddlers that can go up by themselves
- off-road
- perfect for winter
- non-swivel wheels could bother some
- the hood doesn't hold firmly on the chassis
Great for outdoors, larger children, and sturdy.
- Spacious
- All-terrain
- Practical
- Great canopy that can be opened up to touch the bumper bar
- Incredible quality
- A bit clumsy looking
- Not the smallest fold there is (still quite manageable, though)
At first, I wished I got the 4S with the swivel wheels (my husband felt strongly about the conventional fixed wheels) - and with time, as I got used to the idea, I must say, for forest walks while needing something smaller, and with four wheels, you cannot go wrong with this pushchair. And even though the wheels don't swivel, it is really comfy to push!
A practical, strudy and versatile stroller, and I strongly recommend it! High-quality, drives excellently, and the super comfortable seat makes up for a happy child, while the parental comfort is just as high. Excellent for vacations or mountain walks.
- holds up well even after 2 children
- good for off-road
- high weight capacity
- spacious
- driveability
- bulky
- not pretty
I inherited it after my sister's two children. I don't like the look, I must say. But even after it has been through, it still works just fine. And it drives very well, even on bad terrain. Too bulky to fold often.
Your questions about the Emmaljunga Scooter 4
How to fix the canopy of Emmaljunga Scooter 4..? I'm bit confused. And which standing board can I attach to it that work well..?
Heya, Saman.
I am sorry but I cannot tell you how to fi the hood as I don't know what is wrong with it and what/why it needs fixing. I would, however, recommend getting in touch with their customer service, or the shop you bought it at, and they should help you with servicing and spare parts.
About the sibling buggy board, my personal favourites are the Bumprider and the Lascal Buggy Board Mini or Maxi, as these two fit the most universally in my opinion, and their wheels are one of the better ones.
