Cybex Talos S Lux
The Cybex Talos S is a new arrival for 2020. This 'brother' of the famous Cybex Balios S can handle some harsh terrain use. The design and functions of both the Talos S and the Balios S are similar, but the more robust chassis of the Talos S is equipped with air-filled tires instead. In addition, the chassis is wider, and the weight capacity was increased to up to 22 kg. You will appreciate the relatively simple fold, the spacious shopping basket, and the generous size of the hood. You can put your newborn baby into a carrycot available in matching colors. Alternatively, using corresponding adapters, you can add a Cybex/Maxi-Cosi-type of car seat (or another brand with identical attachment system).
The Talos S is available in two variations. The Talos S Lux variation boasts an extra-large, well-ventilated hood and a seat unit reclining to a full lie-flat. The optional Cot S carrycot and adapters for Group 0+ car seats are available separately for the Talos S Lux. On the other hand, the Talos S 2v1 is a 2in1 stroller system (with an option of a car seat for a travel - 3in1 stroller system) comprising a bucket-type seat unit and carrycot fabrics, that you attach on the same frame as the seat fabrics. This system, similar to the former Cybex Priam with 2in1 Light Seat, will certainly save you some storage space.

Best Deals for Cybex Talos S Lux
Parent reviews of the Cybex Talos S Lux
- large wheels
- upright sutting position
- large hood
- extendable handle
- heavy
- short leg rest
- handle can get rattly
I like it, it’s just a bit heavy. Great around the house, though. And very upright.
The stroller looks so trendy and has a great suspension. We often take it for hikes on uneasy surfaces and this stroller is a beast. The wheels are so steady and the seat is so comfortable!
- easy assembly
- reversible seat unit
- suspension
- leg rest and footrest
- heavy
The amortization (suspension) is pretty much the same as on the Balios S stroller - therefore, not present. On the other hand, the stroller is very heavy, even pulling it out of the car boot is a workout.
The footrest is weak - the legs of a larger toddler protrude and dangle (on the less expensive Balios is a better one).
- heavy
- hard-felt wheels
The wheels are so hard they feel like solid wood or something. Also, the pushchair is too heavy.
- suspension
- weight
- basket
The storage basket is very shallow. The stroller probably weighs a ton - I mean, the manufacturer says 14/15 kg but it feels like so much more. I don't feel the suspension - the wheels are very hard, you might feel the suspension if the child inside is maybe much heavier...
- value for the money
- large hood
- easy putting together
- handy
A great pram that's really worth the money. We are very pleased with it. Recommended.
- all-terrain push
- large hood
- wide seat
- reversible seat
- I found none (maybe except the high price)
A perfect pram for me. I don't really see any niggles - maybe apart from it being rather expensive. It is easy to push - around town as well as in the forest. A large hood, a wide seat and most importantly, it can face forward as well as backward.
The backrest reclines into three positions up to a full lie-flat sleeping position. It comes with a footmuff. I sincerely recommend it.
It feels wobbly a bit. The large wheels are nice, but they don't feel as all-terrain. I like the high seat back but would like a better footrest. The plastic on the hood is not the best to be there. Looks better "on paper".
- Versatile use
- We passed even through worse terrain
- Price
- Looks
- Extremely large when folded
It's a nice, versatile pushchair for most terrains - still, it is really heavy, super bulky after folding, and I would still expect much more suspension on the wheels!
A great and comfy seat and those all-terrain wheels will make for great help on not-so-great sidewalks with all sorts of bumps and cracks. But the stroller feels kind of heavy. I also wish for some flaps to cover the side windows on the hood when it is extended - plus a longer leg rest.
Your questions about the Cybex Talos S Lux
Hi, what are real folded dimensions?
Your product info dimensions are
Folded dimensions (h×w×l)
89 cm x 60 cm x 53 cm
But on the official site of Cybex, the dimensions are
Length 400 mm, Width 485 mm, and Height 650 mm.
Hey, Eliska,
Models get updated a lot, so the dimensions can change over time. I tried to go for the dimensions with the seat attached, which is, I assume, why it's larger than what the website says (I would say they only put in the folded frame measurements).
What is the seat size/height?
Hello, Pepps,
The Cybex Talos S's seat measurement is as follows:
Seatback height: 50 cm
Sitting surface width x depth: 32 cm x 27,5
Leg rest length: 21,5 cm
Seat surface length: 99 cm
The seat is about 50 cm from the ground.
What is the weight of the stroller?
Hello, the Talos S Lux weight was not yet revealed by the producer. Be sure to get back to check; we will update it as soon as it is known.
