Parent reviews of the Bumbleride Indie Twin
- The inflatable wheels are all 4 of the same size, so the front ones are big enough and very easy to ride, turn
- The best handling I've had the opportunity to test compared to monowheels as well
- Spacious seating
- Full recline, leg positioning
- Large canopies - can be pulled down very low, providing good shading
- Bassinets are foldable and easy to fold, so the stroller is easy to move and fold when transporting by car
- We had a black one and the fabrics faded
Excellent twin stroller. Very easy to manoeuvre, foldable, spacious, large canopies.
Excellent stroller. Easy to steer, narrower compared to other twin strollers, sturdy, folds well.
Total satisfaction with this. Handled rough terrain, is light and portable. Advantages are definitely the adjustable leg rests and, for me, the comfortable manipulation with the backrest. It has a spacious basket and a high handle. It fits into an 80cm door.
Definitely happy to recommend it. The new models are absolutely luxurious.
- light
- easy to handle with one hand
- inflatable wheels
- goes everywhere, even in the snow
- windows on the roof
- large basket
- little ones love to sit and sleep in it
- fits everywhere - even in the doors of 80 cm, lifts, cash registers in Lidl and under the door 😉
- positioning of the backrest is harder (with the straps)
Very satisfied with the stroller. My little ones like to ride in it, and they are almost three years old.
It's a great, high quality stroller. It looks good and handles great.
- folding/unfolding
- cleaning
- comfortable for the children
- comfortable and adjustable for the mommy
- you can get spare parts if you need some
- I found none
You wont be sorry for the investment with this stroller.
For me, a top choice. It's perfect.
I am very happy with the Indie Twin.
- No downsides
The best double stroller for twins. It even got the Best for Baby Award.
Your questions about the Bumbleride Indie Twin
I would like to know the size of the seats on the 2017 Indie Twin VS 2018 Indie Twin… I would also like to the timeline or the evolution on the Bumbleride Indie Twin Strollers Ive seen so many different kind that I would like to know the year or name each one is to pick the best one.
Hey, Nat,
I don't know by heart, and don't have a list of all the tiny changes the manufacturer didn't even make publis, I am sorry. The seat dimensions on our site are approximate (48cm backrest, 30x23cm seating area, 94cm seat surface length) - so that you have an idea about how much space there is and yes, it can vary from year to year a bit), but for such a detailed question about changes and measurements, the best is to contact Bumbleride and ask them, they will know best.
Hello there.
We're considering buying the Indie Twin for our newborn and prem twins. We have a Suzuki Swift and are unsure if it'll fit. Any advice?
Thanks
Hi there, Nayan,
Well, I'm afraid this might be a challenge. With the Swift's car boot dimensions of 101 cm x 86.8 cm, and the Indie Twin at 83 cm x 76 cm when folded, you CAN put it in, I believe. For more convenience, be sure to measure your trunk's opening yourself, as I only googled those numbers, and also count on the need of removing the wheels of the Indie Twin for an easier loading... and of course, the need to have an empty car trunk most of the time.
Eli, I am missing a Bumbleride Indie Twin front wheel, the removable one. Can I retrofit a spare back wheel with the removable locking system to make it a front wheel? Thanks, Debbie
Hi, Debbie,
I'm afraid you won't be able to put the back wheel in the rear position, unfortunately. You'll need to conact the customer service or search for spares in classifieds or elsewhere, as you need a front wheel to make it work.
