Giuliano Brevi, who had a strong passion for plastic and metal processing, founded the Italian family-owned company Brevi in 1954 in Bergamo province. Together with his brothers, Attilio and Romano, they have decided to make childcare products no longer with the traditional wood, but with the modern materials: plastic and metal. From 1971, they have created many innovative products such as the very first high chair with folding frame, seat made of polyurethane foam with no rigid parts inside, followed by the first book folding bed from 1975. In 1985, Brevi launched the first umbrella folding bed with a carry bag and in 1988, the world’s first drawer unit with bath and changing mat. In 2003, eight new strollers were added to the portfolio of the brand.
Nowadays, Brevi is present in 58 world countries, offering over 200 various childcare products related to bathing, feeding, sleeping, walking, playtime or traveling. Brevi products were rewarded many Korean, Hong Kong and other awards including the Reddot Design Award such from 2013 for the stroller Boomerang. Functional yet affordable Brevi strollers are playfully colorful, lightweight and destined predominantly for the city.
